An admissions representative from Colorado Christian University is visiting Mountain Ridge on Tuesday, 10/29 during AcaPrep. This is a great chance to learn about the degree options and other opportunities available through CCU. Be sure to stop by the Counseling office to sign up and get an AcaPrep pass to attend. Congratulations to our Marching Band for a fantastic performance Saturday night at the Corona del Sol Invitational. The Pride of the West came in 2nd place with a score of 84.5 and won the award for the Most Outstanding Auxiliary. To celebrate the Food Drive going on right now StuGo has come up with a spirit week. Each day will have a specific item to bring in, and the first hour class that brings in the most each day will get a prize. The week of October 21-25 Monday is “Money makes the world go ‘round” so bring it money. Tuesday is “The Incredible Bulk” so bring in bulk food (rice, flour, beans, etc).
