Congratulations Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band on their performance at the DVUSD high school band assessment last week. The band received the highest scores in the District. The TSW (transition to work) program will have hot chocolate for sale for $1.00 this Wednesday morning before school. Congratulations to Mountain Ridge and all those that donated at the blood drive. We collected one hundred and twenty-six units of blood to be used at hospitals throughout the city. Thank you to all the staff, students and VICA members that helped make it such a big success. Now, the moment you have all been waiting for! Today is your last chance to order caps and gowns for graduation at lunches. The Freshman Girls Basketball Team started out with a 20-15 win yesterday over North High School. The team was led in scoring by Stella Wesson and Heaven Burchfield who each had 6 points. The WHOLE team played great defensively and worked hard all game long.
