ORDER YEARBOOKS:  Don't forget to purchase your 2022-2023 yearbook before they run out. Yearbooks can be purchased at the MRHS bookstore or at jostens.com. Don't miss out!

SPRING ASSEMBLY RESULTS:   Here are the results for the 2023 Spring Spirit Week and Pep Assembly.  By winning both spirit screams at the pep assemblies and the dress up day competition the seniors are the winners of this year’s spirit stick.  Congratulations seniors! 

We have two families on our campus who will be receiving wishes from Make-A-Wish this year.  Please continue to donate by buying Wish Stars, the online QR code and we still have plenty of Wish Shirts that we will be wearing on Thursday.  Thank you to those of you that bought balloons on Friday and ballooned the teachers, it was a great event and lots of fun, thanks to those awesome teachers for being great sports and taking for the cause.  See Mr. Evans if you would like to get a shirt or donate money in E218. 

CONGRATS TO WINTERGUARD:  both of our Winterguards on an incredible 2023 Season!!! Our Varsity Winterguard is the WGAZ STATE CHAMPIONS!!! They won first place in Scholastic A Class at the WGAZ Championships! Congrats also to our JV Winterguard who are the Silver Medalists in Scholastic Regional A Class! Go Ridge!!

CONGRATULATIONS HOSA: 13 HOSA students who competed at SLC.  Brooke Blais & Hailey Hein are state champtions in Health Career Display; Ash Bhakta & Pratush Pyakurel placed 3rd in Medical Innovation; 17 members earned membership awards; 3 earned community service awards.  We earned Gold chapter award

NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT:  The final NLI signing day for this school year is 4/12 at 7:00 AM.  Please see Ms. Douglas in the athletics office if you would like to participate in this event

WISH WEEK is March 27-April 6. Wish Stars will be sold for $1 all week, Wish Week T-Shirts will be sold for $10, all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Arizona. 

STAFF RECOGNITION: Is there a staff member at Mountain Ridge that you feel has gone above and beyond to help a student or is just a great representation of what it means to be a Mountain Lion? CAP & GOWN:  Attention Seniors, if you did not pick up your Cap and Gown yet, it is important that you get them as soon as possible at the Bookstore either before or after school or during lunch. 

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY APPLICATIONS:  National Honor Society applications for the 2023-2024 school year are now open. Current sophomores and juniors with a minimum 3.8 GPA are invited to complete an application. See Ms. Sercl in room C223.

SENIOR SCHOLORSHIPS:  please turn in any scholarships you have received to Ms. Dyal in the counseling office by either emailing the award letters to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org or by dropping them off in the counseling. We want to honor you at our Senior Awards Ceremony on April 26th. The deadline to turn in scholarships is Monday, March 20th.
