BOYS & GIRLS STATE:  Applications for Boys and Girls State can be picked up in the Counseling office and are due by Friday February 17^th to Mrs. Nelson in Counseling. 

SPRING SPORTS/ACTIVITIES YARD SIGNS:  Show your MRHS Spirit by getting your Spring Sports/activities yard sign for you student. Sign are $30. Available for Softball, Baseball, Track and Field or any other group/activity. Contact mrhspom@gmail.com for an order form. Orders are due February 20, 2023.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ACADEMIC DECATHLON FOR WINNING 3RD PLACE AT REGIONALS: Team for winning 3rd place at RegionalsExceptional job team. Individual medalists included: Fallon Sullivan, Tejas Sehani, Michael Torres, Priya List, Julians Straub , Evelyn Wittmer, and Evey Aspaas. We know you will represent our school well at state next month! Great job, and good luck team! 

SEAL OF BILITERACY:  Attention Juniors and Seniors with intermediate level fluency in another language: We encourage you to test for the Seal of Biliteracy! The Seal of Biliteracy is an award that can be earned upon graduation by demonstrating proficiency in English as well as another language. The test will take place on Wednesday, March 1st in the Media Center starting at 7:30 AM. The payment deadline is February 22, 2023 in the bookstore.Our Practice Exam Session will be after school on Thursday, February 16 from 2:15-3:00 in C 219. Please see Mrs. Romero in C 219 or your guidance counselor for any questions.

 ASIAN CULTURE AWARENESS ASSOCIATION:  The Asian Culture Awareness Association will be hosting their first annual cultural festival on Saturday, February 11th from 2:30-5pm in our central campus courtyard. Come learn about the diversity on our campus as we showcase languages, food, games, and more! Bubble cups will be onsite as well as entertainment from ASU Asian culture groups. Admission is $8 at the gate, $5 with student ID. 

FEBRUARY PTO MEETING - Join us on February 15th from 6:30-7:30 pm in the small auditorium in the F building for the February P.R.I.D.E PTO Meeting! We’ll be getting the ball rolling for the annual Grad Night! ATTENTION SENIORS: Any seniors graduating who did NOT attend the graduation meeting, we just held - Come and pick up information at the BOOKSTORE.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Attention any seniors interested in auditioning for the Main Graduation Speech. Auditions will be held March 1st – Wednesday in the lecture hall after school. A sign up sheet is posted outside Room E218. You must sign up to audition.

SENIOR SCHOLORSHIPS:  please turn in any scholarships you have received to Ms. Dyal in the counseling office by either emailing the award letters to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org or by dropping them off in the counseling. We want to honor you at our Senior Awards Ceremony on April 26th. The deadline to turn in scholarships is Monday, March 20th.
