Army ROTC National High School Scholarship: Army ROTC National High School Scholarship Opportunity. Army ROTC provides full tuition and fees (or $10K for room and board) scholarships to over 2000 high school students each year. In addition to the tuition and fees, the scholarship pays $1200 annually for books and a stipend of $420 per month (for up to 10 months a year.) Dual Enrollment Spring Registration: Dual Enrollment Spring registration has begun! Please remind students that haven’t registered that the deadline is February 14th, 2022. Students can now enroll online through their student center at www.my.maricopa.edu, they can call 480.517.8080, or email (lucero.curiel@riosalado.edu) or text (480.517.8782). Students that request enrollment via email or text need to include their MEID and section numbers.
Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP): The Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP) at Arizona State University is now accepting applications for the 2022 FREE summer program (5/30 - 7/8). The JBMSHP is intended for mature and motivated students who are interested in academic careers requiring mathematics, science, or engineering-based coursework and who are typically underrepresented in those fields of study. United States Naval Academy is offering Summer Seminar and Summer STEM programs United States Naval Academy is offering Summer Seminar and Summer STEM programs this summer. Naval Academy Summer Seminar offers an opportunity for rising high school seniors to experience the academy for one week. Arizona Girls Program Educational Program ATTENTION FEMALE JUNIORS! Arizona Girls Program is hosting a week-long unique summertime educational program for high school juniors that focuses on participation and personal experience in a model state, complete with governmental bodies and elected public officials. The seminar will be held June 5th – 11th at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. The cost is $100 per girl (The cost is refunded after participation). Interested students must pick-up and complete a student nomination application from the counseling office or click HERE. Applications are due to Ms. Sherrod (patricia.sherrod@dvusd.org) by Wednesday, Feb 16th.
Pharmacy Tech 101 Sessions Pharmacy Tech 101 Sessions: Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences This program is 20 weeks in length, first 12 weeks are online with the last 8 weeks on the AZ campus. The program is also currently covered by the Mayo Clinic Workforce Development Scholarship. This means that any student admitted to the program will have their tuition covered. Theatre Club Meeting: The next theatre club meeting is held Wednesday, room 114 on the 16th of February, and auditions for Senior one-act plays are being held on Thursday the 17th. “Audition forms for Senior-One-Act plays are available with auditions being held on Thursday the 17th of January. Everyone is welcome to audition, so come support your seniors by being in their plays! The audition will be held in the mini auditorium (room 114), but follow the @bchstheatreco on Instagram and @theatrejag on remind for upcoming information on auditions.”
BCHS is a Closed Campus: Attention all Students, Boulder Creek is a closed campus. There is NO leaving campus without permission. Leaving campus without permission will result in serious consequences. Please read page 13 of the student handbook: CLOSED CAMPUS Boulder Creek High School is a closed campus. Students must remain on campus during lunchtime. A parent or guardian signature and photo ID are required to release a student for personal reasons during school hours.
Hallways during lunches: Attention all students: During Lunch, you are not to be in the hallways eating or hanging out, bathrooms are located near the cafeteria, during lunches.
All things EQ (2/11/2022): Listen to your internal questions.
