CROSS COUNTRY: Congrats to our Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams!!! They competed at the AIA State Championship Meet this past weekend and ran very well. Our Boys Team took 13th Place with a score of 327. They were led by Junior Peyton Schneider who finished 10th and earned All State Honors. Thomas Kim finished 46th, Victor Sandrin 99th, Adrian Rodriguez 100th, Jack Smith 117th, Jett Seguin 118th and Chandler DeVinney in 120th. Our Girls Team qualified 3 individuals led by Canyon Cockrell who finished 83rd and Risa Blacker finishing 106th with Jeannette Vazquez finishing 134th. It was a great end to a great season!
CONGRATULATION ACADEMIC DECATHALON: Great job at scrimmage Aca Deca team! Good luck at regionals: Fallon S., Priya L., Kendall C., Evey A., Juliana S., Joshua D., Michael T., and Gina M.. Special acknowledgement to others who medaled including: Aaditya A., Pravneet C., Tejas S., Vaidehi C. , Madison G., Sowmya M.. Great job to all who competed!
TSW RECYCLING PROGRAM: The TSW staff and students have partnered with NexTrex to start a recycling program. “When we donate our plastic film to Trex, we are helping to keep thousands of pounds of waste out of landfills and providing Trex with the supplies they need to make eco-friendly outdoor products.” Look for posters around campus on what is acceptable to donate. Some examples are grocery bags, bread & ice bags, ziploc bags, bubble wrap, newspaper sleeves and dry cleaning bags. Designated Trex boxes are in the administration building by the attendance window for you to drop off your donations. If we collect more than 500 pounds of plastic refuse in a 6 month span (about 40,500 plastic bags), Trex will donate a high-performance composite bench to our school. Winners will be announced on Earth Day Friday, April 22, 2022 , so start collecting!
FCA MEETING: The next FCA meeting is this Thursday during ACA prep! We will be meeting in the small gym! Make sure to sign up in Flextime manager. We will have a guest speaker. Don't miss out on the fun! See Mrs. Olson for more information.
CONGRATS TO THE MRHS PRIDE OF THE WEST MARCHING BAND!! They came in 2nd place overall and were the Silver Medalist at the AzMBA Class 4A Championships (Largest Division in AZ). We are so proud of ALL of our Band and Guard students!!! They are advancing to the final round of State Marching Band Championship this Saturday where the top 8 Bands will compete for the ABODA State Marching Championship!
RIDGE VOLLEYBALL CLUB: The Ridge Volleyball Club will meet during acaprep on Thursday! WE will talk about the upcoming Beach clinics for Boys and Girls. Sign up in Flextime and we will see you there.
DECA WRL: DECA WRLC is Thursday. You will be released after 3rd hour. Please bring your suitcases to the student store in the morning. It is time to Max our Momentum!!.
CONGRATULATIONS SPEECH & DEPATE: Congratulations to Priya List and Raksha Suresh for winning third place and Aaditya Agnihotri for breaking at the Toro Classic Debate Tournament! Go Ridge Debate!
ACTIVE MINDS: Active Minds will be meeting on Thursday, November 18th during ACA Prep. We will be training our members to use V-A-R on campus and in the community. Join us to learn how help for those struggling with mental health can come in many forms.
BABBOS ITALIAN EATERY: Join us Thurs., Nov. 18, as Educators Rising hosts a fundraiser at Babbo's Italian Eatery at 67th Ave and 101. Enjoy delicious Italian food and 20% of the proceeds will go to Ed Rising. Show the flier posted on the MRHS website. See you there!

ATTENTION STUDENTS: We are a closed campus and do not allow any outside deliveries of food to our campus. If someone comes in with food from an outside delivery, they will be sent away.
TICKETS for home athletic events can only be purchased online, tickets will not be sold at the door. To purchase your tickets go to www.mrhsathletics.com and click on the ticket link:
STUDENT ATHLETIC PASSES: Students you can avoid the online ticket fees and purchase your Student Athletic pass from the bookstore. This pass costs $30.00 and will get you into all regular season HOME games. Your student pass will be put on your Student ID card and you must show the ID card at the event.
FAMILY ATHLETIC PASSES: Parents and families can purchase a punch card to get into games 20 punches for $65.00. The family punch card can be purchase at the bookstore and is for parents and family members only and can not be used by Ridge students to get into games.
