Voice of Democracy Scholarship Need money for college? The VFW is hosting a Voice of Democracy audio essay contest for all students. All you need to do is write and record a 3-5 minute audio essay on a patriotic theme (How Can I Be a Good American?). The top National prize is a $30,000 scholarship and first-place state winners receive a trip to Washington, D.C. The entry deadline is Friday, Oct 29th. Please click HERE or come to the counseling office for an application and more information.

BC 7th Annual Haunted House: BCHS 7th annual Haunted House will be on October 14th, 15th, and 30th from 5-10pm. Ticket price- $5.00 Location: the Fine Arts building. See you there. :)
Food Drive for Foothills Food Bank: Food Drive for Foothills Food Bank! Starting on Monday, Interact Club will be hosting a school wide food drive. Every classroom will have a crate for donations and the period 1 class with the most cans will win a donut party! Please bring canned food, and dry goods like mac and cheese, Hamburger Helper, cereal and pastas.
National English Honor Society (NEHS): BC is starting a chapter of the National English Honor Society (NEHS)! If you are a junior or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, come to join us for an informational meeting in room 102 (in the library) on Wednesday, October 20th at 2:30 pm.

Attention Seniors! NOVEMBER 20th is the FINAL day for senior portraits. As of now, 283 seniors will NOT be in the yearbook. To make sure your picture is included in the yearbook, seniors MUST be photographed at Grads Photography. Please make an appointment at gradsphotography.com. It can be a "simple" session and it's free! You can use your own senior photographer later...but to be in the portrait section of your Senior Yearbook, please use Grads Photography before November 20th. Thanks!
