STUGO CLASS ELECTIONS - Any Freshman, Sophomore or Junior interested in runninng for a class officer position in student government needs to attend a mandatory workshop on MONDAY May, 3rd, at 7:00 am or 2:20pm in room E218.  You cannot run for stugo if you do not attend this workshop.  See or Email Mr. Evans at doug.evans @dvusd.org with questions.  

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS 2021/2022-The time has come again to get your athletic physicals. Schedule an appointment in the Athletic Office,  623-376-3036. MRHS TRACK & FIELD - The Mountain Ridge Track and Field team capped off its regular season at the District Championships. Our boys and girls both took second place at the meet losing to rival Sandra Day. Here are the star performances last evening. Meet champion Hayze Comstock turned in a stellar performance winning both the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Julian King was the lone additional district champion winning the triple jump. Other athletes that placed in the top three include the following; Albin Arulanandu, Madalyn Wnenta, Lauren von Aspen, Isaiah King, Tanner Loosle, Taylor Krasa, Tristen Brewer, Evyeni Gavriilidis, Ethan Black, Kaitlyn Pietrykowsky, Alex Doost, Deryk Leverage, Miyah Verse, Max Haggard and Nathan Moreno. Great job we are very proud of the entire team! UP NEXT: STATE CHAMPIOSHIPS!

SUMMER WRESTLING INFORMATION - There is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, May 5^th at 2:20 in Coach Whitten's room E-104 to discuss summer camps and tournaments.  All returning and new wrestlers must be there.  This camp is open to any male or female athletes interested in wrestling next season!!

RENNASSAINCE CORD DISTRIBUTION - The rennaissance cord program has been revamped this year.  Cords will now be distributed during SENIOR WALK THROUGH ONLY.  Keep any cords you have already picked up in a safe place, any additional earned cords will be distributed your senior year during walk through, 

CHEER TRYOUTS - Cheer tryouts will be May 10-13th. Information can be found at https://mrhsathletics.com/2021/04/15/2021-2022-cheer-tryouts/ or stop by the bookstore and pick up a packet. 

CONGRATULATIONS MRHS TENNIS - Congratulations to girls varsity tennis as they took on Willow Canyon and scored a 9-0 win.  This was the teams 7^th straight win.    Winning at singles were Neha Balamurugan,  Emma Troyer, Nicole Varadi, & Maehur Aulakh.  Wining at doubles was the team of  Julia Borggrebe & Maehur Aulakh.  Way to go team!  

ATTENTION STUDENTS: We are a closed campus and do not allow any outside deliveries of food to our campus. If someone comes in with food from an outside delivery, they will be turned away.
