4/9/21 Announcements

CONGRATULATIONS TRACK & FIELD - Last evening our boys and girls Track and Field teams traveled to Deer Valley High School and competed in what was a District Championship preview, state qualifying meet. Girls and boys teams both claimed victory, narrowly edging out rivals O'Connor and Boulder Creek. Our Girls tallied 118 points beating O'Connor by only 5 points. Event winners included Lauren Maza in the Javelin, Daleina Egea winning the 300 meter hurdles, Miyah Verse in the Shot Put and High Jump and Emma Johnson winning the triple jump. The meet was capped off by a dominating performance by our 4 x 400 meter relay team that included Kaitlyn Pietrzykowsky, Madalyn Wnenta, Taylor Krasa and Marissa Neese.

The boys edged out O'Connor by a score of 126-124.5 to take 1st. Team was lead by Julian King winning both the long and triple jumps. Other Event champions include Matthew Worrell in the Javelin, Josiah Parker in the Discus, and Hayze Comstock winning the 300 meters in with a blistering 42 second time. 

CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS TENNIS - Congratulations to Julia Borggrebe & Maehur Aulakh as they won the deciding match against Horizon in a 5-4 team win..  Also winning at singles included Nicole Varadi, Julia Borggrebe, Maehur Aulakh, and Henna Singh.  JV's also won 8-1. Great job girls!
