ASU Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute: The Arizona State University Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute is a high-energy leadership program for sophomores and juniors. Selected students participate in a one week program (July 12 - 16) at ASU in workshops and activities exploring higher education, leadership development, and community engagement. The Barrett Summer Scholars (BSS) program: The Barrett Summer Scholars (BSS) program provides students with the opportunity to experience college firsthand and prepare for enrollment and success at Arizona State University and Barrett, the Honors College. The program is designed for academically talented and motivated students entering the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in Fall 2021. United States Naval Academy (USNA): United States Naval Academy (USNA) is offering a Summer Seminar for 9th -11th graders to experience life at the Academy and kick-start your application journey for an appointment to the Academy. The Anthem Cares Through Service Scholarship Program: If you are a current high school senior looking for scholarships; The Anthem Cares Through Service Scholarship Program is offering up to five, $2,000 scholarships to Boulder Creek High School seniors planning on attending college that have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Come by the counseling office to pick up the application and submit it to your counselor by April 15th.

Governor's Youth Commission (GYC): Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! Do you have a passion for service and leadership? The Governor's Office of Youth, Faith, and Family (GOYFF) is seeking inspiring youth leaders from Arizona high schools to serve on the 2021-2022 Governor's Youth Commission (GYC). Attention Senior receiving or that have received a Scholarship: Attention Seniors We would like to acknowledge all Seniors receiving Athletic or Academic Scholarships. If you are receiving or have received any Scholarships please fill out the Google doc Form located on the Boulder Creek website in the Graduation information. Please fill it out completely and submit it.

Girls Tennis Tryouts: Interested in tennis? Girls tennis tryouts are tentatively set for March 1st & 2nd. You must be cleared through athletic secretary, Mrs. Harrelson. See you Monday at 2:45 p.m. on the court with your racket, Coach Baxley

ASU Workshop: Seniors! Attending ASU in the fall, ASU is offering a NEXT STEPS workshop on February 25 at 3 pm and March 2 at 4:00 pm. You must pre register to attend, just visit the counseling web page and click on the virtual college visits link.

College Tour Watch Party: The College Tour Watch Party Live-Streamed from ASU Thursday, March 4, 6 p.m. (Arizona time) The event will be live-streamed on YouTube at links.asu.edu/college-tour.

Graduation Speech: Attention seniors wanting to audition for the Graduation speech. Must sign up at the principal's office. Auditions are on March 8 Monday after school in the Mini- Auditorium. You must sign up.
