Picture Re-Takes: Boulder Creek Jaguar Parents and Guardians, Grads Photography will be on campus for picture retakes on Tuesday, February 2nd, in the auditorium lobby. This is also a time for students to get their picture taken if they missed the fall picture day. In an effort to maintain social distancing, we are requiring students to use the following link to sign up for a picture retake time slot: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B49A8A62CAAF85-boulder NOTE: These time slots are only available for students who attend BCHS for in-person learning. The Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP): The Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP) at Arizona State University is now accepting applications for the 2021 summer program (6/13 - 7/23). The JBMSHP is intended for mature and motivated students who are interested in academic careers requiring mathematics, science, or engineering-based coursework and who are typically underrepresented in those fields of study. ASVAB-CEP (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery-Career Exploration Program ASVAB-CEP Testing: Are you a Senior or Junior? Are you interested in identifying your career strengths and receiving an inventory assessment and feedback? Are you interested in the possibility of joining the military after high school? If you said �YES� to one of the above questions, consider taking the ASVAB-CEP (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery-Career Exploration Program) on Wednesday, Feb. 10th from 7:30 am-noon in the main auditorium. Fort Lewis College, Virtual High School Visit: Fort Lewis College - located in the beautiful mountain town of Durango, Colorado - will be hosting a Virtual High School Visit on Wednesday, February 3rd at 1:00 PM. We will talk about the many opportunities that a small institution has to offer, and how to attend an Out-of-State college at an affordable price. Come learn about our Native American Tuition Waiver, our amazing programs, and our free ski season pass for first-year students. Attendees will be given a fee waiver code for their application! Immunization Pick-up for Seniors: Attention Seniors, Seniors ONLY, starting February 1st, you will be able to pick up your immunization records from the receptionist.


 

ASU Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute: The Arizona State University Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute is a high-energy leadership program for sophomores and juniors. Selected students participate in a one week program (July 12 - 16) at ASU in workshops and activities exploring higher education, leadership development, and community engagement. Build Your Future Arizona: Here is an event put on by Build Your Future Arizona, their mission is to help raise awareness about career opportunities in construction. Anthem Chamber of Commerce: The Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for 1-2 student interns who can commit to 4-6 hours per week to research, compile & post upcoming meetings and events to the community calendar and social media. The ideal candidate would be an outgoing teen interested in pursuing social media marketing, content creation, publishing, or civic service as a possible career. This is ideal for community service hours needed for the National Honor Society or for college applications. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
