Class of 2021 "Cap & Gown Pictures": ATTENTION CLASS OF 2021 Grads Photography is our official yearbook Senior Portrait Photographer. Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students: Attention Students, your school cafeteria is serving free breakfast and lunch to all students through December. Please take advantage of the wonderful food that our school cafeteria workers are making.
Picture Re-Takes: Picture Re-takes for students returning to on-campus in January 2021 or that have missed picture day will have the opportunity to take pictures on January 11th.
NIAAA Scholar Athlete Award: National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Scholar-Athlete Award is looking for one girl and one boy for this award. The essay application is attached to this email. The deadline to submit is January 15th, 2021. All applications and essays need to be sent to Julie.patton@guhsdaz.org.
Paradise Valley Community College live virtual campus tour: Seniors! Paradise Valley Community College is hosting a live virtual campus tour on December 9th from 1:30-2:30. If you are considering attending community college, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and get to know the campus! Sign up on the counseling web page under Virtual College Visits to attend.
Interested in Winter Guard: Winter Guard Meeting and Spin Clinics. Can you dance? Are you interested in learning to spin a flag or rifle? Our very own State Runner Up Winter Guard is holding an interest meeting and spin clinic Tuesday, December 8th from 5:30-7:30 PM in the band room. Anyone interested in joining the 2021 competitive team should plan on attending. Please bring your mask and wear comfortable clothes as we will be learning both dance and flag choreography. Winter Guard is a proud no-cut activity so come check it out to see if the guard is right for you!
Ugly Sweater / Mask Day: Keeping the tradition alive! On Friday, December 11--the Friday before Finals week--wear your favorite, ugliest, gaudiest sweater. To add to the fun this year, we are encouraging everyone to design or wear an "ugly" or holiday-inspired mask as well. Perhaps some tinsel and jingle bells would make our mask breaks more exciting?!

Congratulations NHS: Congratulations to NHS, they delivered over $1600 worth of presents to children in need.
Varsity Football News: Congratulations to our BCHS Varsity Football team on an incredible season! The Jags ended their season on Friday night at the state 6A semifinals with a tough loss against highland by one touchdown. The game was incredible and the score was tied nearly the entire game as our team fought until the end. This was a historic season for the Jags; we are so incredibly proud of our team! Congratulations to our Varsity team and to Coach Cass and the entire coaching staff.
End of Semester: 10 school days until the end of the semester. Make sure you are talking to your teachers and are making every moment count in improving your grades! You can do this!!!
