Winter sports tryoutsTryouts begin Monday December 7th - detailed information can be found at mrhsathletics.com.

 

Student Masks Reminder – it is critical that we remind you about the importance of wearing cloth face masks while on school grounds. Face masks are required for all staff and students while on campus, when riding the bus, attending after school activities and athletic events.  Masks are only to be removed when eating lunch.

 

Attention freshman Interested in becoming a stugo representative? PLEASE ATTEND THE INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP DEC. 3RD
BEFORE SCHOOL @ 7 AM OR AFTER SCHOOL @ 2:20 PM IN MR. EVANS ROOM E218, email Mr. Evans at doug.evans@dvusd.org if you're interested and an online student for a zoom link. Election is the week of Dec. 11th

 

Best Buddies Best Buddies will be Meeting on Thursday, December 10th. Please email Mrs. Plogman or Mrs. Grimm for the Meeting Zoom Information. The last day for membership and to order your BB T-Shirt will be Tuesday, December 15th.  T-Shirt orders and Dues need to be paid on-line to the MRHS Bookstore.  Send a copy of your receipt and your shirt size to Mrs. Plogman by December 15th.

DECA Game of Go - Dec 5th at 7pm and eSports is at 8pm. Come Join us by visiting the DECA Canvas course.

 

DECA Girls Who Code - Dec 6th at 11am and Game Night at 7pm.

 

DECA Meeting - Mark your calendars for a DECA Meeting on Dec 7th at 3pm on zoom!

 

DECA Written Events - Phase I is due Dec 5th and the final paper is Dec 22. See Ms. Moore if you have questions.

 

Boys Soccer Information - Students interested in trying out for boys soccer need to stop by room CC409 for information.

 

Check Your Grades - Students and especially Seniors, please check your grades and contact your teachers for guidance on how to raise your grades if you are not passing your classes. The end of the semester is approaching quickly.  Remember- Without labor, nothing prospers. ~ Sophocles,

 

New YEAR LONG courses, One Full Credit courses coming to Mountain Ridge so be sure to review them as you sign up for courses.

 

Career and College Readiness/Ethics - Use this class to prep for College. You will get your essays, letters and paperwork all prepared. For those that need performance videos, you can edit them in this class for sports, band, choir, art, fashion, ....anything school that requires a video to show your skill level. This the course to prep you for success at the next level!

 

Financial Planning/Sports & Entertainment Marketing - Come learn how to prepare a budget, personal finance, credit cards, loans and we will apply it to our Sports& Entertainment Franchise project for the class.

 

Mountain Ridge HS ‘Senior Class’ of 2021It’s Senior Week!  It is time to start ordering your cap and gown for graduation in May!  The deadline has been extended until December 7th to purchase your cap and gown, class ring, graduation announcements, and other class of 2021 items.  A message was sent to you in Canvas with the flyer and the flyer will be on the school website as well.  Please start ordering as soon as you can!

 

Attention Students:  If you have not picked up your ID card, please stop by the bookstore before school, after school and during lunches only.

 

Buy your yearbook today – Cost is $85.  Get your yearbook in the MRHS bookstore or at Jostens.com.  2020/2021:  A year to remember.

 

Attention students:  We are a closed campus and do not allow any outside deliveries of food to our campus.  If someone comes in with food from an outside delivery, they will be sent away.
