Student Masks Reminder – it is critical that we remind you about the importance of wearing cloth face masks while on school grounds. Face masks are required for all staff and students while on campus, when riding the bus, attending after school activities and athletic events. Masks are only to be removed when eating lunch.
Congratulations Academic Decathlon - The team made a strong showing at the scrimmage last week. Special recognition goes to Neha Balamurugan for earning first place in Essay, Economics, and Top Score; Aaditya Agnihotri for top score in Speech; Brody Wilson for top scores in Interview and Music; Priya List for top score in Math; Jessica Guan for top scores in Science and Art; and Fallon Sullivan for top score in Language and Literature. Way to go all competitors!

Best Buddies Best Buddies will be Meeting on Thursday, December 10th. Please email Mrs. Plogman or Mrs. Grimm for the Meeting Zoom Information. The last day for membership and to order your BB T-Shirt will be Tuesday, December 15th. T-Shirt orders and Dues need to be paid on-line to the MRHS Bookstore. Send a copy of your receipt and your shirt size to Mrs. Plogman by December 15th.
Educators Rising - Support the Mountain Ridge High School Educators Rising Chapter TONIGHT. We are future educators holding a fundraiser at Fletcher's Sports Grill near 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant Parkway on Thurs., Nov. 19th. You can do a take out order or dine in and watch the Cardinals vs. Seahawks game there too! Hope to see you there!
DECA Jacobson Pitch contest - Be sure to see Ms. Moore about the Jacobson Pitch contest for a chance to win $1500 Deadline is Nov 20.
DECA is Adopting a Family for the Holidays. Due to COVID, we are doing Gift Cards. So bring the gift cards with a card for the family to Ms. Moore by Dec 2nd!

New YEAR LONG courses, One Full Credit courses coming to Mountain Ridge so be sure to review them as you sign up for courses.
Career and College Readiness/Ethics - Use this class to prep for College. You will get your essays, letters and paperwork all prepared. For those that need performance videos, you can edit them in this class for sports, band, choir, art, fashion, ....anything school that requires a video to show your skill level. This the course to prep you for success at the next level!
Financial Planning/Sports & Entertainment Marketing - Come learn how to prepare a budget, personal finance, credit cards, loans and we will apply it to our Sports& Entertainment Franchise project for the class.

Mountain Ridge HS ‘Senior Class’ of 2021: It’s Senior Week! It is time to start ordering your cap and gown for graduation in May! The deadline has been extended until November 21st to purchase your cap and gown, class ring, graduation announcements, and other class of 2021 items. A message was sent to you in Canvas with the flyer and the flyer will be on the school website as well. Please start ordering as soon as you can!
Attention Students: If you have not picked up your ID card, please stop by the bookstore before school, after school and during lunches only.
Buy your yearbook today – Cost is $85. Get your yearbook in the MRHS bookstore or at Jostens.com. 2020/2021: A year to remember.
Attention students: We are a closed campus and do not allow any outside deliveries of food to our campus. If someone comes in with food from an outside delivery, they will be sent away.
