Hispanic Heritage Foundation grants: The Hispanic Heritage Foundation's (HHF) 2020 Youth Awards educational grants program is now accepting applications! Our 22nd Annual Youth Awards will award students who are in the graduating Class of 2021 with up to $1000 in educational grants to fund their higher education or a community-based project. Recipients will be selected for their accomplishments in the classroom, community and for their excellence in various educational categories. Recipients will also be celebrated in virtual ceremonies. The deadline to apply is December 6th, 2020. Students can apply and find more information at www.HispanicHeritage.org. Updated Bells: Attention Students and Staff, we have made changes to our bell ringing schedule, there will be NO warning minute bell during passing periods.


 

Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students: Attention Students, your school cafeteria is serving free breakfast and lunch to all students through December. Please take advantage of the wonderful food that our school cafeteria workers are making.

Paw Pride for September: Congratulations to our Paw Pride nominees and winners for the Month of September. TRI University Week: TRI University Week is approaching! During this time you can learn crucial information during the week of October 19-October 24 about ASU, U of A, and NAU with virtual sessions about admission, scholarships, the FAFSA, and details about each campus. AP Registrations: Attention AP students! The deadline to complete your AP registration is October 29th. Late registrations are not accepted and all registrations and payments must be completed through Total Registration. College Planning: Seniors there are two big events to assist you with college planning. The Arizona College Consortium Virtual Conference and College Fair and Tri University Week. Back to On Campus: Welcome back to all of our Jags!! We are SO happy to be together finally this year!


 

Boys Golf News: The BC Boy's Golf team finished first at Thursday's Freedom Match at Coyote Lakes GC. Leading the way for BC was Sophomore, Chase Gorder with a one-under-par 35. Senior Cole Holden posted a solid even-par 36 followed by Sophomore Keegan Stamp with a 39, Senior Aiden Kallevig with a 40, and Junior Geno Ploeger with a 44. Also, the boy's golf team made a stellar showing at the annual Mt. Ridge Invitational in Flagstaff taking second overall. Congratulations team and to our coaches on a great week!


 

Yearbook: Congratulations to the yearbook staff for being featured in the Look Book of 2020! This is a significant achievement in the Jostens "best of the best" publication. We are featured for our yearbook cover "Time After Time", from over 1,200 submitted for consideration. This is the second year in a row that The Prowler Yearbook Staff has won this award. Congratulations to all yearbook staff!


 

Swim & Dive: Congratulations BC Swim and Dive on their win last week against Shadow Ridge! Congrats team and Coach Kunselman and Coach Newell.


 

Football News: Congratulations Freshmen, JV, and Varsity Football on their sweep against Skyline last week. Varsity had a shutout Friday night and won on their senior night 46-0! Congratulations to all levels of football, also to our coaches!


 

SBLive Athlete of the Week: Congratulations to Jacob Cisneros who was named the SBLive Athlete of the Week for our week 1 game against Casteel. SBLive stated, "Cisneros has arguably the top stat line of anyone in Week 1 - 135 receiving yards, 108 rushing yards, and 475 all-purpose yards." Congratulations, Jacob! We are so proud of you!


 

Friday Night Fever: Congratulation to our Football program on being selected as the featured team on Friday Night Fever this coming Friday! The show will air on Friday at 11:35 pm on NBC! Congratulations!
