Congratulations to our Mountain Ridge High School Honor Choir and Concert Choir (Lioness Choir) for both receiving Superior ratings at the 2020 NAU Jazz Madrigal Festival. Both groups sound amazing and we are very proud of them.

Join the MRHS Bollywood Dance Team today!  First meeting of our official second season is Today, February 11^th in the dance room 6:50am.  No dance experience required.  Come out and have a blast!

Best Buddies will be having their holiday Valentine's Day Party during ACAPrep on Thursday, February 13th in room C113. Club members, please plan on attending and bringing a treat to share. All Best Buddies members: your Yogurtini money is due on Thursday

Boys basketball has their last home game of the season tonight versus O’Connor. The Seniors will be recognized prior to the varsity game.  Varsity begins at 7:00, JV 5:30 & Freshman at 4.  Hope to see you all there!

Join Active Minds Today during Acaprep in room C204 for some Valentine’s Day themed activities, all are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Attention SENIORS: Your panoramic picture will be taken Thursday, Feb. 13th in the gym during Academic Prep. A payment envelope and flyer was handed out at our senior meeting. If you did not get one, please come to the BOOKSTORE to get one. Bring your payment envelope to the picture, we will collect then. Also please remember you cannot wear matching tee shirts spelling out anything.

Jamba Juice is back and will be here for both lunches every Thursday selling your favorite flavor for only $5.  Get yours before they sell out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.

Be sure to order your Cookie Bouquet for Valentine's Day in the student store.  Only $5 for balloons and cookies to be delivered to your BFF or special someone on Valentine's Day.  Make someone's day by ordering yours today! See a DECA member if you have questions.

TODAY, Tuesday, Feb. 11th the admissions representative from Glendale Community College will be on campus during AcaPrep to provide information about registration, scholarships, degree programs and more. He will also answer any other questions you have about GCC. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

It’s CTE Month – ERA is Educators Rising Association for future teachers and early childhood education.  We have a chapter on our campus.  Happy CTE Month!

Attention graduating students: Cap and Gown pictures will be available from Grads Photography on Tuesday February 11th during Academic Prep in the lobby of the auditorium. If you want to have your picture taken, come to THE BOOKSTORE to get a pass. Caps and Gowns will be provided. REMEMBER MEN – bring or wear a shirt and tie. Ladies – please wear something V neck. Payment flyers were passed out at your senior meeting If you need a payment flyer, come to the bookstore. You must get your Academic Prep pass before the 11th

The 3rd Annual Ridge Run 5k is Saturday February 22 at 8:00am. Go to mrhsathletics.com for more information or stop by the athletic office to pick up a flier. Cost is $20 for all DVUSD students and $25 per adult, come out to this great event and support your Ridge athletics!

Seniors, as you receive scholarship awards from universities or foundations, please inform the counseling office so we can celebrate your success at the Senior Honors and Awards Ceremony. Please bring a copy of the scholarship to the counseling office or email it to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org by Friday, March 13th.
