"Are you in or have you taken French or Spanish 5-6 Honors?  Are you bilingual?  Do you speak, read, listen and write at an intermediate level in a second language?  You could be eligible to earn the seal of biliteracy.  There will be a practice seal of biliteracy test in C219 next Tuesday, 1/21/20 after school.  See Mrs. Romero for details.    The deadline to sign up and pay is 1/31/20. "

Jv boys soccer played a great game against Westview winning 4-1. Braden Scott scored two goals, and Oscar Davila and Andrew Comarita each scored one. Kevin Meigh and Alex Ohmart had a great effort in goal. Good job boys!

Varsity boys basketball beat Pinnacle 70-66 in front of an awesome crowd last night.With Ridge down by 6points going into the 4th quarter, their pressure defense mounted a 10-2 run to put ridge into the lead. Outstanding team effort & great leadership from seniors Matt Jensen, Gino Ciccaglione, & Riley Lopez.

The robotics club meeting that is scheduled for this week has been canceled. We will be meeting next week on Wednesday.

JV Girls soccer beat Westview 8-0 and Varsity Girls soccer beat Westview 5-0. Next game at home on Friday.

A representative from Grand Canyon University will be presenting during AcaPrep on Thurs the 16th. Students interested in hearing about admissions, scholarship, housing, and more at GCU should plan to attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from counseling to attend.

The DECA scholarship window is open.  Over $300,000 up for grabs!  Get online and apply today!!!

Just a reminder that we will hold senior meetings during ACAPREP on Jan. 28th for seniors last names A-K and on January 30th last names L-Z.  Seniors will be called to the auditorium and the beginning of ACAPREP. These meetings will give you information regarding graduation and senior events that will be coming up.

If you are interested in one of the Internship Programs for next year and have questions, come by room C103 and see Ms. Moore. There is an informational session during acaprep on Thursday January 16th or January 30th.  Stop by the student store to pick up an acaprep pass.  The internship class does count as a credit and your job or volunteer work is the homework. You will have late arrival or early release for this course.

Ridge Got Talent is Wednesday, January 29th at 7pm. If you know a teacher with a talent to share, please let the Principal Advisory Council members know or let Ms. Debbie Moore know.
