Congrats to our boys cross country team for finishing 2nd at the sectionals championship meet. They were led by Hunter Krasa and Austin Clayton who finished 1st and 2nd. The team qualified to compete at the State Championship meet this Saturday at 8:45 AM at the Cave Creek Golf Course.

 

Congrats to our girls cross country team for a great season. They finished 10th at the sectionals championship meet. They were led by Taylor Krasa who finished 24th and qualified as an individual to compete at the State Championship meet this Saturday at 9:45 AM at the Cave Creek Golf Course.

 

Tennis camp for all tennis players, boys and girls, will begin December 3rd at 2:30 at the tennis courts.  All players interested can pick up a registration form at the bookstore or Coach Singleton's room C108

 

The MRHS Pride Of The West Marching Band would like to invite you to their friends and family night, TONIGHT with food trucks starting at 4:30, and the performance starting at 7pm. ALL are welcome to come view our championship-level band and Guard at their last home performance before their performance at the State Championships at GCC on Saturday. Admission is free. Hope to you there!

 

During AcaPrep on Tuesday Nov 19th representatives from GCU and the University of Alabama will be on campus to speak to interested students. This is your opportunity to learn and ask questions about the university. Make sure to stop by the Counseling office to get your AcaPrep pass to attend one of these presentations!

 

Seniors--You can sign up for the Senior Internship next year and if you are in CTE--You can have two internship classes.  If you work or volunteer, those hours could count for a grade and help you find your career pathway.  See Ms. Moore for the details.

 

MRHS Winter Color Guard just took another State Award at the AZ Marching Band Association Championships. Got a positive attitude and are willing to be part of a dedicated, hard-working team? Attend the Spin Clinics for Ridge Winter Guard Tuesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 21 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Welcoming students in grades 7th – 12th. No experience required. Come and check out what the MRHS Winter Color Guard has to offer. Check out the Ridge Website or ask at the Front Desk. All abilities levels are welcome.

 

Student Government is selling Harkins Cup Cards for $7, see any stugo member to get yours or see Mr. Evans in E218.  These will go fast so get them early. 

 

Did you know Ms. Moore was a National DECA board member?   Now you know.  Happy DECA month!

 

Do you have any special skills when it comes to video editing or filming? Do you have any experience as a music DJ?  The boys basketball program is looking for a music DJ, game filmers & scorebook keepers for this season. If you are interested, see Coach Lopez in room E-103.
