Hey PAC members, Principals Advisory Committee, be sure to get your teacher for Ridge Got Talent AND....survey your friends for school improvement ideas.

 

Congratulations to our Marching Band! The Mountain Ridge Pride of the West Marching Band attended the Bands of America Regional Championship this past weekend in Flagstaff. They won the caption award for the most outstanding music performance in Class 4A, were a Finalist, and finished in 5th place at Finals among schools from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

 

Educators Rising challenges all students to bring in books to your period 1 teacher to be donated to less privileged schools in the Deer Valley district. We also accept cash! $3=1 book. It ends this Friday and it looks like Mrs. Bondi and Mr. Dragomir's classes are in the lead. Who will win the donut party?

 

The admissions representative from NAU will be visiting during AcaPrep on Today, Oct. 3rd. If you have any questions for the NAU rep, or just want to learn more about NAU, you should attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

 

Homecoming Results Announcement:  Here are the results for the 2019 Homecoming Spirit Week and Pep Assembly.  With winning the spirit scream in the 2nd assembly and the class comp in the 2nd assembly, the seniors are the winners of the  Homecoming spirit stick.

 

Also we would like to congratulate royalty for this year, the freshman attendants, Jaron Winters and  Cami RitzlerDustin Odorcic and Autumn Coleman, sophomore attendants, Hershal Singh and Stella Wesson, junior attendants, Suraj Elango and Emma  Brownstein and senior attendants, Gavin Allen and Jennifer Littlepage.  This year’s King and Queen are Bryan Myers and Olivia Anderson.  Congratulations to all!

Food Drive starts now, bring lots of cans and food to your 1st periods!  More info to come soon, including the theme days and prizes for each class.

FCA will be welcoming a motivational speaker and former professional baseball player Thursday during ACA PREP, LET'S FILL THE SMALL GYM! GOING TO BE SPECIAL-

 

The admissions representative from GCU will be on campus during AcaPrep on Tuesday, Oct. 8th. She will be able to answer any questions about the admissions process, scholarships, campus life and more. Make sure to stop by the Counseling office to get your AcaPrep pass today!

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are invited to a field trip to tour West-Mec Northeast Campus on Wednesday, October 9th from 9am-11am. Please sign up in the counseling office to attend.

 

Every Thursday, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches selling your favorite flavor for only $5.  Get yours before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.
