Homecoming football game TONGHT, Sept. 27th vs. Chaparral High School.  Game starts at 7 pm wear your school colors!    Please remember no masks, no skateboards and no hydro flasks will be allowed in the stadium.  GO RIDGE!

 

FCA will be welcoming a motivational speaker and former professional baseball player next Thursday during ACA PREP, LET'S FILL THE SMALL GYM! GOING TO BE SPECIAL-

 

Over the weekend @ the Brophy Invite, Kara Church broke two school records!

Kara set a new school record of a 1:52:74 in the 200 Free beating out a record set in 2012 by Brenna Dickson who had a 1:53:98 in the 200 Free.

Kara went on to smashed her old record set in 2016 of a 5:00:14 in the 500 Free and set a new record time at 4:58:92.   Way to go Kara! Crushing records and making new ones!

 

 

NHS will meet in the Lecture Hall, Thursday October 3rd at 2:20. A catch-up meeting will be on Friday the 4th at 7:00am.

 

The girls badminton team beat Shadow Ridge 9-0. The team is 8-2 on the season. Varsity winners include Kaitlin Tucay, Morgan Pearson, Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley, Ali Pedersen and Samantha Rawson. The Mr. Poppers team award went to Stella Wesson for her dominance in singles and doubles.

 

The admissions representative from NAU will be visiting during AcaPrep on Thursday, Oct. 3rd. If you have any questions for the NAU rep, or just want to learn more about NAU, you should attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

 

The DECA scholarship window is now open. Over $300,000 dollars up for grabs!  Get online and apply NOW!!

 

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are invited to a field trip to tour West-Mec Northeast Campus on Wednesday, October 9th from 9am-11am. Please sign up in the counseling office to attend.

 

Every Thursday, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches selling your favorite flavor for only $5.  Get your's before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.

 

Educators Rising challenges all students to bring in new and gently used books to your period 1 teacher to be donated to less privileged schools in the Deer Valley district. We also accept cash! $3=1 book. The class with the most books and donations by Fri., Oct. 4th will win a donut party!
