All things E.Q. 9/23-9/27: Always smile at the cashier. We all have hopes and plans for how we want our day to go, whether we are students or teachers, custodians or cashiers and each of us would like to avoid pain and have a good day. By keeping our commonality in mind, it’s easier to have empathy for people and to value and utilize the virtue of kindness. “Kindness begins with the understanding that we all struggle.”-Unknown You are not only an observer of the moments that you live but a participant. You can increase the quality of your day simply through the smallest words or acts of kindness. When you are kind not only do you impact the people around you positively, but you bring those positive moments to your own life as well.
