VICA/ANATOMY CLUB: Want to learn more about the human body and possibly go on a field trip to see Cadavers? If so, the first meeting for VICA (aka Anatomy Club) is Thursday, August 29th at 2:20pm in Mr. Prey's room, C209. All are welcome.

Tomorrow we are going to have a Friday morning pep rally in the area between E and C.  At 7:10, the band, cheer, and pom will be performing as students are walking on to campus.  Ridge Army will be promoting the upcoming seasons.  We would love for you to come out and join the fun.  The theme for the football game is black out, so we are encouraging students and staff to wear black shirts to the game.  Thank you

The girls badminton team defeated Desert Vista 7-2 varsity and 9-0 JV. The team is 1-0 on the season. Varsity winners include Kaitlin Tucay, Morgan Pearson, Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley, Ali Pedersen and Savannah Swint. The Mr. Poppers team award went to Shivani for dominating in singles and doubles.

The Mountain Lions home opener is this Friday against Corona Del Sol at 7:00pm, let get out there and show them some support! Go Ridge!!

An ASU admissions representative is visiting Mountain Ridge during AcaPrep on Thursday, Sept 5th. This is a great opportunity to learn about ASU, the application process, scholarships, housing, the Honors College and so much more. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

Mt Ridge Pom team is hosting its annual Little Lions Pom Camp on Sat Sept7th at 8am. Kids from Kindergarten through 8th grade will have the chance to learn a routine to perform at the football game on Friday, Sept 13th. Registration forms are in the bookstore or dance room. For questions ask any Pom member or Coach Lopez. 

Every Thursday, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches selling your favorite flavor for only $5. We increased the inventory so there is more available! Get yours before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.
