Congratulations to State Leadership Conference Participants, Abbey Britton, Lindsey Foster, Jacob Nova, Glenny Prabakaran, Brenna Samenfink, Haley von dem Bussche.  Jacob and Haley advanced to 2^nd round in HOSA Bowl, Glenny placed 2^nd in Medical Photography and Brenna placed 5^th in Pathophysiology.  Great job!

Girls, are you interested in participating in volleyball next year?  Please come to a meeting with Coach Williams before school on Friday, May 3^rd at 7:10 AM in room E-107 for information on summer campus, tryouts and other information for the 2019 fall girls volleyball season.  See you there!

Interested in drama, arguing, politics, presentation or debate?  Join us in room E-211 on May 2^nd from 2:30 – 3:00 PM for an introductory presentation from a guest speaker to learn about the upcoming MRHS Speech and Debate team for the 2019-2020 school year.  No commitment or prior experience necessary.

The bookstore hours will be limited this week.  Monday and Tuesday, the 29^th and 30^th, the hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Normal bookstore hours will resume on May 1^st.

Current Juniors, don’t forget the ASU representative will be on campus this Thursday during AcaPrep.  This is a great chance to learn more about ASU and get any questions you have answered.  Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

Attention Seniors, if you had Mrs. McBride or Mrs. Moya for freshman ELA, time capsules are available in room E-112.  Stop by and get yours today!

Interested in Girls Golf?  There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, May 2^nd @ 2:30 p.m. in Room D106.

Congratulations to #1 tennis singles player Neha Balamurugan as she competed in the state tennis tournament.  Neha soundly defeated her first opponent from Centennial 6-1, 6-2 placing her in the sweet 16 section of the tournament.  Great job and awesome year Neha.

Athletes, the time has come again to get your athletic physicals.  Schedule an appointment in the Athletic office or email Lara.wesson@dvusd.org.  Physicals are Saturday, May 4^th from 7:00 – 11:30 AM at MVP Orthopedics.  Flyers are posted in the classrooms as well.

Congratulations to Varsity Baseball for their 8-7 come back win against O'Connor in the 1st round of playoffs on Saturday.  Round 2 is TODAY, April 30 @ 4:00pm at HoHoKam Stadium against Basha. Let get out there and show them our support! GO RIDGE!
