There is a mandatory player and parent meeting for football TONIGHT at 7:00 PM in the Cafeteria.  If you are interested in playing spring football, you and a parent or guardian must attend this meeting.

Congrats to our Band and Orchestra on their performances at the Area Concert Festival at Desert Mountain high school last week.  Our Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band received Superior with Distinction ratings and our Orchestra received a Superior!

Our winter guard teams traveled to Desert Vista High School this past weekend where over 50 guards from across the state competed.  We are proud to announce that our JV team was able to capture 2^nd place and our Varsity finished in first again, taking a staggering 13 point lead over their competitor.  Next week both teams will compete at Mesquite High School in Regional Competition with groups from Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.  Good skills to all involved!

Interested in being a DECA Chapter Officer?  There is a DECA meeting on Thursday to find out information.  You can also turn in your butterbraid orders.  Candidate Bios are due back no later than the March 28^th DECA meeting.  See you Thursday during AcaPrep.  Come by the student store and grab a pass.

Butterbraid orders are due Thursday!  If you are fundraising for DECA or FBLA get those orders turned in ASAP.  If you want a butterbraid, be sure to reach out to DECA, FBLA, Mrs. Woodruff or Mrs. Moore.  The product will be delivered on April 3^rd. 

Juniors and Seniors taking the Civics Exam on Friday, March 8^th, please bring your AcaPrep pass on Thursday, March 7^th for review session.

Seniors, your cap and gown pictures are now available in the Bookstore.  Stop by and pick them up before school, during lunches and after school.

Any Seniors interested in auditioning for the Main Graduation Speech, auditions will be held March 6^th in the lecture hall after school.  A signup sheet is posted outside Room E-218.  You must sign up to audition.

Registration for boys basketball camp will be going on through March.  Registration forms are in the bookstore.  Also, the boys basketball banquet will be on Wednesday, March 13^th.  To RSVP please see Coach Lopez for details.

If you were on the list to receive a Renaissance Cord and did not pick it up during distribution, please come by the office before school, during lunches or afterschool to pick up your cord.

National Honor Society Invitations – It’s that time, again!  Invitations for National Honor Society are being delivered.  If you are a Sophomore or Junior with a GPA over 3.8 and are not yet a member, look out for your invitation.  If you don’t receive one and you meet the criteria, come see Mrs. Santschi in room E209.

Applications for the Maricopa Grant/Tuition Assistance are now available.  Students need to apply by May 31, 2019 to be considered for tuition assistance for the dual enrollment classes that they plan on taking in the 2019-2020 school year.  Students must reapply for the Maricopa Grant each school year.  Please remind students to apply now for Tuition Assistance as funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. (Eligibility is required).  Students may refer to our Tuition Assistance/Maricopa Grant website for more information and to access the application.

Freshman/JV Baseball against Cibola, Varsity/JV girls tennis against Campo Verde and boys volleyball against Corona Del Sol are all at home tonight.  Come out and support your teams!
