Congratulations to Jalan Tipirneni who has been nominated as our February Rotary Student of the Month.  Jalan was nominated by our Math department.

Congratulations to Senior Shiv Shah for placing 2nd overall in the Arizona State Brain Bee Neurology Competition held at Midwestern University Medical School last week.  Shiv led Mountain Ridge to a 2nd Place Team finish as well and was just one question away from winning it all and moving on to the National Competition. Thank you to the team of Kayla, Peyton, Mena, Aspen, Morgan, Carson, Irene, Neda, Ritika, Paula, Christina, Isis, Roshni, and Shiv for representing Mountain Ridge High School.

Attention graduating students, cap and gown pictures will be available from Grads Photography Tomorrow during AcaPrep in the lobby of the auditorium.  If you want to have your picture taken, come to the bookstore to get a pass.  Caps and gowns will be provided.  Remember men, bring or wear a shirt and tie.  Ladies, please wear something with a V neck.  Payment flyers were passed out at your senior meeting.  If you need a payment flyer, come to the bookstore.   You must get your AcaPrep pass before tomorrow.

Attention any graduating students who forgot their panoramic picture money.  Bring money to the bookstore by end of school TODAY.

Cookie Bouquets will be on sale for Valentine's Day or to send your special person a valentine cookie bouquet to be delivered to their classroom. Order yours at the student store today!

Best Buddies, we will be having our Best Buddies Valentines Day party on Tuesday, February 12^th during AcaPrep.  Remember to bring treats to share.  See you there!

Congratulations to the boys basketball team for a fantastic season.  They lost a close game Friday night 45-40 at #9 Desert Vista. After being down 7 points at the end of the 3^rd quarter, the boys came back and made it a very exciting finish.  Down by 2 points in the final minutes of the game, our boys had more than one opportunity to take the lead, but fell short.  It was an excellent game & season. Thank you all for your support & Congratulations Boys!

Congratulations to our winter guard teams that traveled to Buckeye for their first competition of the season this past weekend.  Our JV team finished 2nd in their division and Varsity finished 1st and started their season with their highest ever week-1 score!  Best of luck to both teams as they compete at Goldwater HS next Saturday the 23rd.

Anyone interested in wrestling next year, there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, February 13t at 2:30 in Coach Whitten’s room E-104.  We will be discussing eh spring and summer camps and tournaments.

Internship students, please note that we have a LATE START on February 20^th.  You will need to work with your internship mentor and adjust your schedules for that day.

Community Information Night #4 is March 13^th at 6:00 PM in the lecture hall.  Join us in learning to be aware, to prepare and to care for our community.

It’s CTE month, FBLA is the Future Business Leaders of America and we have a chapter at Ridge!  Happy CTE Month!
