Attention freshman whose grades last semester qualified them for a Renaissance Cord.  The Freshman Renaissance Induction will be held Thursday, February 7^th in the auditorium with the program starting at 7:00 PM.  Please be at the auditorium by 6:45 PM.  Teachers have received the list and it should be posted in each classroom, so make sure you check the list.  If your name is on the list of those qualified, come pick up your cord and be recognized. 

Deer Valley Unified School District is providing all junior students with an opportunity to take the ACT test at no cost. The ACT test will be given at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, February 20^th.  There is some pre-bubbling that you will need to do ahead of time.  This will happen on Thursday, February 7^th and Friday, February 8^th during AcaPrep.  Junior students will be assigned to a room, where a staff member will walk you through the process.  It is very important for you to be here on February 7^th and 8^th for this task as you will not be able to participate in ACT testing if the pre-bubbling is not done.  Room assignments will be posted to the Junior class in Canvas, and sent via Canvas email, as well.  Please make sure you know which room to report to.  See your counselor if you have any questions.

It’s CTE month, we have DECA, ERA, FBLA, HOSA and SkillsUSA on our Mountain Ridge campus.  Happy CTE month.

Attention seniors, your panoramic picture will be taken Thursday, February 7^th in the gym during AcaPrep.  A payment envelope and flyer was handed out at our senior meeting. If you did not get one, please come to the Bookstore to get one.  Bring your payment envelope to their picture, we will collect then.  Also, please remember you cannot wear matching tee shirts spelling out anything.

Attention any seniors graduating who did not attend the graduation meeting we just held, come and pick up information at the Bookstore.

Anyone interested in Spring sports, tryouts begin TODAY.  Please be sure you are cleared through the Athletic office.  See Mrs. Wesson if you have questions.

Internship students, please note that we have a late start on February 20^th.  You will need to work with your internship mentor and adjust your schedules for that day.

Community information night #4 is scheduled for March 13^th at 6:00 PM in the Lecture hall.  Join us in learning to be aware, to prepare and to care for our community.

There is no FIRST Robotics, Rocket Club or Lenovo App Team meeting on Feb 6th since there is no school.  Meeting February 13th will be discussion about the FIRST Robotics T-shirt Launcher design. We will vote on a design. The Rocket club will continue their fabrication and Lenovo App teams will continue their work. We will start construction of the FIRST Robotics Launcher Feb. 20th.

DECA written events participants, be sure to get your final copy into Ms. Moore at midnight February 6^th.

Students taking the AAPPL test on February 11^th must pay for the exam in the bookstore no later than today.
