Congratulations Ivan Sabev for being nominated as our December Rotary Student of the Month.  Ivan was nominated by our Physical and Health Education Department.

Girls JV Soccer beat Cesar Chavez 11-1.  Girls Varsity Soccer beat Cesar Chavez 7-2.  Goals by Brenna Scott, Ally Rybarczyk, Ashley Armenta, Chiara Fusciello, and Mackenzie Bondo.

A representative from Air Force and Marines will be available during AcaPrep on Thursday the 17th to talk to students interested in joining or learning about the opportunities available through the Air Force or Marines after high school. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today to attend!

Attention Juniors, next year everyone can do internship.  There will be an in person course that has release time for your job and there is the current CTE Internship that is online.  Be sure you sign up for them for next year!

Have you bought your Ridge Got Talent tickets yet?  See any Principals Advisory Council member or go to the bookstore to buy yours today.  This talent show of teachers and student acts will amaze you!  It is a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society so come support a GREAT cause!  Tickets are $5.00 presale and $8.00 at the door.  Mr. Lang, Mr. Gabow, Officer Calderone and Mr. Shiro will be doing a Beatles tribute and Mama Mia performance and of course, Drumline!  See you on Thursday, January 31^st at 7:00 PM for this great show!

Congrats to all who auditioned for All-State Jazz Band this weekend. Three of our students advanced to the second round and one of our own, Joel Domkus made it in on bass trombone! Congrats Joe!

With only 7 basketball games left in the regular season, boys basketball is on the verge to making the state playoffs. Both games this week are home games. Tuesday vs. Liberty and Friday vs. O'Connor. Please come out and show your support.

JV Boys Soccer played a great game against Cesar Chavez on Friday and tied 1-1. Zain Abdalla scored the only goal with an assist by Shane Mahkovitz. Goalies Kevin Meigh and Gabe Baushauldt played excellent in goal. The boys play home tomorrow against Basha at 4pm. Come out and support!

Boys Basketball against Liberty and Boys Soccer against Basha are both at home tonight.   Come out and support your teams.

Ridge Run 5K is taking place on Saturday, February 2^nd at 8:00 AM.  Cost is $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for students.  Everyone who registers will be entered into a raffle to win 4 park hopper tickets to Disneyland, so sign up today!!!  Proceeds benefit Mountain Ridge Athletics, invite your family and friends to join you!
