Please congratulate Ivan Sabey who has been nominated as our December Rotary Student of the Month.  Ivan was nominated by our Physical and Health Education department.

DECA, Monday, January 14^th we are leaving all day for district competition.  Professional dress and shoes.  Money will be needed for lunch.  Let’s win this!  Also DECA, Friday, January 18^th you need to be registered for DECA state so get into the canvas course to sign up.   

Seniors, you can add the CTE online internship to the Spring semester if you need a .5 credit.  See Ms. Moore or your Counselor to get that class added.

Have you bought your Ridge Got Talent tickets yet?  See any Principals Advisory Council Member OR go to the Bookstore to buy yours today.  This talent show of teachers and student acts will amaze you!  It is a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society so come support a GREAT cause!  Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $8 at the Door.  Mr. Lang, Mr Gabow, Officer Calderone and Mr. Shiro will be doing a Beatles tribute and the Mama Mia performance AND of course, Drumline!  See ya on Thursday, January 31st at 7:00 PM for this great show!

DECA seniors--Be sure to apply for the International DECA Honor Roll. See the DECA website, Ms. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff and apply before January 22^nd.  Good Luck

Attention Juniors, next year everyone can do internship.  There will be an in person course that has release time for your job and there is the current CTE Internship that is online.  Be sure you sign up for them for next year!

Girls JV Soccer beat Westview 9-0. Girls Varsity Soccer beat Westview 4-0. Ashley Armenta scored 3 goals and Tatem Johnston scored 1. Layken Henzel had the shutout.

Boys basketball is at home tonight against Shadow Ridge.  Come out and support your teams.

Girls Basketball Fundraiser:  Parents it's time to start your New Year’s Resolution and clean out those closets and garages!  Help Mountain Ridge Girls basketball by simply donating your unwanted clothing, small electronics, furniture, small kitchen appliances and other household items.  Bring your donations to the Mountain Ridge Admin parking lot this Saturday, January 12^th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  The girls basketball team will earn money for every pound collected.  Thank you for your support and Go Ridge!
