Any student interested in learning about Grand Canyon University should attend the AcaPrep presentation on Tuesday, November 27^th.  You will hear about admissions requirements, scholarships, campus life and so much more.  Stop by the Counseling office to get your AcaPrep pass today.

A representative from the University of Alabama is coming to Mountain Ridge to present to students during AcaPrep on Tuesday, November 27^th.  Even if you are not sure you want to go out-of-state, come hear about what U of Alabama can offer for your academic future.  Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

We have the results for the class competition for the food drive tallied.  First place for total amount of bulk food goes to Mrs. Romero’s class winning a pizza party and 2^nd place for bulk food was Mrs. Chisholm’s class who will also win pizza.  The class with the most overall cans total was Mrs. King, her class will get a choice of donuts or cookies.  The 2^nd place for overall total was the Office Staff. Congratulations to all those classes!  We would like to thank everyone who donated money and food items, it was a great success; we were able to donate over 20,000 pounds.  We will find out the winner overall in the state in the next week or so.  Thanks again for helping out the St. Mary’s food bank and those that are less fortunate, Ridge Rocks!!!!!

Art Alliance yearbook photo passes need to be picked up in room CC-303 any time before Wednesday, November 28^th.

DECA district signups are open now!  District is January 14^th at ASU.  DECA testing is in December.  Come by Room C103 and pick your event.  Sign up to compete by Monday, November 26^th.  There is a DECA meeting on November 29^th during AcaPrep and competition practice will be after school on November 29^th.

Today is the blood drive in the gym.  Donors remember to bring your ID with you.  All teachers have a donor list that was emailed to them which will serve as your pass to get out of class.

Congratulations to the Varsity Pom & Cheer Competition teams for having an excellent performance this past weekend at the AZ State Qualifier.  They did an outstanding job.  Also, congrats goes out to the JV Pom Competition team for winning 1^st place in their qualifier for the USA Nationals competition held in February.

Tennis camp will open for boys and girls starting November 27^th.  All tennis players interested in the camp can pick up a flyer to sign up at the bookstore or in Coach Singleton’s room C108.

Men’s volleyball camp starts Tuesday, November 27^th.  Please see Coach Williams in room E-102 for registration forms or stop by bookstore.
