The representative from GCC will be available during AcaPrep tomorrow, Thursday, November 15th to answer questions you have about admissions, scholarships and more. Make sure to stop by the Counseling office to get an AcaPrep pass to attend!
Juniors and Seniors do you need help putting together a resume to get a job? The representative form Avalon is hosting a Resume Writing workshop during AcaPrep on Tuesday, November 20th. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.
Blood Drive: We still have donor spots available for the blood drive on Tuesday, November 20th. You need to be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. In order to donate, schedule an appointment in Mr. Prey’s room C209. Thank you!
Congrats to our Marching Band who had their best performance of the year at the AzMBA Championship in Gilbert this past Saturday! The Band placed 6th overall and has their final competition of the season, Super-State this Saturday, November 17th at ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium.

Congratulations to the Coach Glonek’s Power Training Lifter of the Month for October, 1st hour Isaiah Cromachk-Horton, 2nd hour Zach Martinez, 3rd hour Skyler Suwyn, 4th hour Kenyon Martinez, 5th hour Matt Jasso, 6th hour Carson Hayes-Singer. Congratulations to the after school training program lifter of the month, Aidan and Anthony Bever. Also, Congratulations to the Power Training Ultimate Bench Press Champions, Skyler Suwyn & Sarah Cosson.
We have an Indian Student Association meeting after school today in Room C219. New members and old are always welcome!
The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both placed in the top 10 at the State Championships this past weekend. The Girls Finished 8th with great effort from Emily Simon, Lizzie Simon, Leslie Simon, Taylor Mollenhour, CeCe Seremeno, Taylor Krasa and Deb Leber. The Boys team finished 8th as well - well done Hunter Krasa, Austin Clayton, Gavin Allen, Jett Seguin, Spencer Sherwood, Thomas Kim, Dermot Broderick.
Come hang out with others that love Disney as much as you! Join the Disney Appreciation club meeting Monday’s in E208 from 2:15 – 3:00 PM. We’ll watch movies, have Disney themed debates, trivia games and Disney themed community service opportunities. See you Monday’s in E208 at 2:15 PM.
Please help FCA welcome back former student and major leaguer Eddie Bonnine as he shares his journey this Thursday during AcaPrep, in the small gym. We will also be taking our club picture at this time. See Coach Schmitt or Coach Green for a pass if needed.
DECA district signups are open NOW! District is January 15th at ASU. DECA testing is in December. Come by Room C103 and pick your event. Sign up to compete by Monday, November 26th. There is a DECA meeting on November 29th during AcaPrep and competition practice will be after school on November 29th.
There will be a boys tennis camp starting November 27th. All boys interested in the camp can pick up a flyer to sign up at the bookstore or in Coach Singleton’s room C108.
Men’s volleyball camp starts Tuesday, November 27th. Please see Coach Williams in room E-102 for registration forms or stop by bookstore.

If you are in the Marketing classroom, be sure to get information on the Junior Achievement Scholarship that is due Friday, April 26th. Amounts typically range from $2000 to $3000.
