CAMPUS GOAL

By May of 2018 we will decrease the total percentage of D/F’s in literacy and math school wide by 25% (from May of 2017 percentages) as evidenced by a score of four or better on the end of course level of achievement marks.

Fun Fact:  DVUSD scored higher on the AZMerit tests than the state average and charter schools.

Learner Profile Trait for May

The Learner Profile trait for May is Risk Taker.  We approach uncertainty with forethought and determination; we work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies. We are resourceful and resilient in the face of challenges and change.

The Learner Profile quote of the day is:  “Trust your own instinct.  Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else’s.” — Billy Wilder
