Please congratulate Anthony Guerra and Sydney Clayton for being selected as Citizens of the Month for January.
Please congratulate Monit Shukla who has been nominated as our February Rotary Student of the Month. The Deer Valley Rotary club sponsor’s this award. Monit was nominated by our Math department.
Project Respect, please remember to turn in project respect permission slips to the book store by Friday so we can order food and t-shirts. If you need a permission slip, please get one from Mr. Romero in CC-403."
Seniors, as you begin to receive scholarships from universities and private donors please bring them to the Counseling office so you can be recognized at the Senior Honors & Awards ceremony in May. We will accept awards until the end of March. Bring your awards into the Counseling office or email to your Counselor
Attention freshman whose grades last semester qualified them for a Renaissance Cord. The Freshman Renaissance assembly will be held Thursday, February 22 in the auditorium with the program starting at 7:00 p.m. Teachers have received the list and it should be posted in each classroom, so make sure you check the list. If your name is on the list of those who qualified, come pick up your cord and be recognized.
Attention 10, 11 and 12th graders. Congratulations to all those 10, 11 and 12th grade students who have qualified to be members of the Renaissance program. Renaissance cords will be handed out Friday, February 23rd during both lunches on the grassy knoll. Teachers have received the list and it should be posted in each classroom so make sure you check the list. The program is based on your last semester grades. You will need your ID to pick up your cord and receive a cookie.
Attention Seniors taking the Seal of Biliteracy AAPPL test on February 27, please pay $20 to the bookstore TODAY! If you have any questions, stop by Mrs. Romero's room in C 219. Thank you and good luck!
TODAY during AcaPrep, the library will be open to juniors for test preparation only.
Interact is collecting unused and/or gently used crutches, walkers and wheelchairs for polio victims in Kenya. Bring them to E208. We will be collecting them until February 23rd.
It is CTE month. 36% of STEM jobs require post-secondary credentials that CTE students can obtain within two years of graduation. Happy CTE month!
