Congratulations to Kailee Sullivan who has been nominated as our December Rotary Student of the Month.  The Rotary Club sponsors this award.  Kailee was nominated by our PE Department.

Mountain Ridge DECA rocked the competition on January 11^th.  Eighty three students attended and we came back with 68 medals and 8 District Champions.

Congratulations to FBLA students who took home 28 medals on Saturday at the FBLA Region 3 Conference.  The talented and successful group took home 9 first place, 13 second place and 6 third place medals.  Congratulations FBLA!

Congratulations to FBLA Ridge Media students who placed Saturday at the FBLA Regional Conference at ASU Polytechnic Campus on January 20^th.  Connor Harris and Brandon Pero won 1^st place and Kaylie Jackson won 3^rd place in Public Service Announcement.  Carlie Ranno won 2nd place in Public Speaking. 

Best Buddies will have a club meeting on Thursday, January 25^th during AcaPrep.  See you all on Thursday!

It's Scholarship Season. Please be aware your transcripts will not have your accurate class ranking available until February 1, 2018.

Join us for the first annual Ridge Run 5K on February 10^th at 8:00 AM.  Go to MRHSathletics.com to register your family and friends.  The cost is $30.00 per participant.  If you need any additional information stop by the Athletic office.

The Mountain Ridge Boys Tennis program will have a mandatory meeting after school in Coach Singleton's room, C108 at 2:20 on Wednesday, January 24.  We will be discussing the upcoming season, tryouts and end of season activities.  All boys interested in trying out for tennis should attend.

JV Girls soccer beat Central last night 11 - 0.  Goals by Ally, Madi M., Sydney, Rylee, Aneisa, Abi, Autem, Sarah, Tatum, Madi W., Calista, Chelsea, Kiana, Emma, and Aimee.  Varsity girls also beat Central 6-1. Goals scored by Maddie Marr, Sofia Perez, Gabby Giuliano, Kelsey Biernot and Ashley Armenta with 2 goals.  Good job Girls!

Girls Soccer is at home tonight against Pinnacle.  JV at 4:00 PM and Varsity at 6:00 PM.  It is also senior night so come out and support your teams!

Girls basketball is also at home tonight against Horizon.
