Boulder Creek High School Bulletin for Friday, May 12, 2017

Annual Senior Awards Ceremony: Seniors! Save the Date! Our Annual Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 15th at 7 pm in the performing arts center. Please turn in your scholarships/awards notices to the counseling office before April 28th.


 

Parking Applications now available: Parking Applications now available for upcoming seniors on May 8-12 and Juniors May 15-19. Applications available on the Boulder Creek website.


 

iPad collection: BCHS SENIORS: Your iPads will be collected at Senior checkout. Please remember you will need to back it up to a cloud service such as Google, Dropbox, or the iCloud. Your school Google accounts will only be available for about 6 months after you graduate, then they will disappear. BCHS FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS: Your iPads will be collected and reset after your last final. You will need to make sure you bring your iPad, the school issued brick and charging cord as well. If you want to keep any of your information currently on your iPad, you will need to back it up to a cloud service such as Google, Dropbox, or the iCloud. You will be issued the same iPad next year, but we will be inspecting the iPads for damage so they can be repaired over the summer.


 

Senior Picnic: Attention Seniors: BCHS PTA Senior Celebration will be on May 17 at 10:45 am at the Football Practice Field. Please join us for Music, hot dogs and raffle prizes. See you there Seniors!


 

Donations for American History: Mrs. Bennett's American History classes are collecting donations through Friday the 12th for Honor Flight, an organization that sends veterans of foreign wars to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials in their honor. Please visit room 633 to contribute!


 

State Track and Field News: Congratulations to Daniel Lozano for winning the 800 meters at the state track meet for the second year in a row. Also congratulations to the rest of our state finalists: Hailey Myles, Stephanie Casaus, Jacob Myles, Kennedy Farrell, and Jacob Lewis.

Medication stored in Health Center: Attention Students if you have medication stored in the Health Center, including EpiPens, nebulizer treatments, inhalers, prescription medications or over the counter medications, please pick up ALL medications by 12 pm on Wednesday, May 24th. All remaining medications will be destroyed or donated after that date. Medications may not be picked up by students. Only parents or guardians can sign out medications. Boys Volleyball State Championship Game Tonight: The Boys Volleyball Team is in the State Championship game today Friday, May 12th at Mesquite High School at 7:30 pm. We play against Chandler High School for the State Championship. We will have a fan bus. Please come out and support our boys! Mesquite High School 500 S McQueen Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233 (about an hour away with no traffic)


 

Track and Field Awards Night: The Track & Field awards night Wednesday May 17th at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. All Varsity and JV track athletes and their families are invited.

Senior Debts: Attention Seniors: Senior students need to clear their debts with the bookstore and the cafeteria. If they want to avoid a long line at Senior Checkout, they should pay their debts now. Also, students who have damaged iPads or missing power cables/bricks can pay for those damages/items now instead of waiting for Senior Checkout. Refer these students to the bookstore before or after school.


 

DV Online Learning Program Students ONLY Attendance is required for all students that did not pay for their online class. Attendance is all time spent working, reading and participating in your class. This log verifies to the State of Arizona your attendance in an online course. The attendance log must be submitted each week. The expectation is that you work eight hours per week per course. Thank you for taking online courses with the DV Online Learning Program.
