SENIOR CORDS ATTENTION SENIORS: Congratulations to the senior students who qualify for our Renaissance Recognition Program! These cords are to be kept and worn at your graduation ceremony. Seniors that earn cords should receive a total of 7 by their senior year if their grades and GPA is as follows. · * Gold Cords: All A’s and Honor B’s · * Silver Cords: All A's and Honor B's and Honor C's with a 4.0+ GPA · * Black Cords: All A's, B's, and Honor C's with a 3.5-3.9 GPA · * White Cords: All A's, B's, and Honor C's with a 3.0-3.4 GPA Please come and see Ms. Braidy to pick up your cords starting February 7th.


 

Annual Senior Awards Ceremony: Seniors! Save the Date! Our Annual Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 15th at 7 pm in the performing arts center. Please turn in your scholarships/awards notices to the counseling office before April 28th.


 

PreMed Club: “PreMed Club will meet Monday, May 8 for our End of the Year Party. Bring your favorite food for our potluck party. There will be voting for officers for next year at this meeting. Text @bcpremed to 81010 for updates.”


 

Board Games at the Library: Students, are you looking for something to do? Instead of being BORED, join us Tuesday afternoon, MAY 2nd at 3:15 to play BOARD games!! Sign up with friends or alone. We will also share information about teen events at the library! Meet awesome people and make new friends. Please register online to let staff know you will attend in order to make planning for snacks easier.


 

Prom Information: Prom Info: Juniors and Seniors, tickets are on sale at The Spot during lunches only to purchase your Prom tickets. Prices are $60 for one ticket or $100 for two. Cash or check to BCHS only. Guest passes are also available for non-BCHS students. Underclassmen at BCHS do not need a guest pass, just an ID at the door. Also, vote for your Prom court royalty. Voting is found at bouldercreek.voting4schools.com website. The login is your 6-digit lunch code and the password is your last name according to PowerSchools including a capital letter.


 

Spring Dance Concert BCHS Spring Dance Concert Join us for an evening of dance, May 3-5. We are excited to announce that tickets will be sold online this year. If you purchase tickets online you will be able to select your own seat(s), and the cost will be $7.00. Tickets purchased at the door will be $8.00 cash or check and seating will be assigned as available, so we encourage you to purchase online and early! Fliers will be throughout campus starting Wednesday April 26th with a QR code linking to ticket sales. Come out and support our dancers, as they entertain us with ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and more!


 

Voting for Stugo: Voting for StuGo: Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, please log in to our voting website to name your representatives for StuGo next year. The website is bouldercreek.voting4schools.com or use the Vote4Schools app on your iPad. The login is your 6-digit lunch code and the password is your last name according to PowerSchools including a capital letter.


 

Key club meetings: KEY CLUB: Do you need community service hours? Do you want to be more involved here on campus and help out others? Key Club accomplishes one community service project per month - and all of these opportunities produce many community service hours! We meet in room 333 every other Thursday right after school. Our next meeting will be May 11th, where we will be preparing for next year and welcoming all new members. Can't wait to see you there!


 

World Language Club: ¡hola, bonjour, nihao. World language club is going to have last meeting of this school year at 2:20 on Wednesday, May 3 at room 330. Everyone is welcome.

Youth Town hall Meeting: Calling all students! Youth Townhall is a monthly meeting where all students are welcome to give suggestions and feedback about school activities, learn about campus groups, and connect with other organizations. Let’s work together to better our school! Room 414 (Stugo Room) Both Lunches


 

Yearbook Distribution: Attention Jags, Yearbooks are almost here! Distribution is May 5th. Preorders are finished so yearbook class can make a final count of books available. You will be able to purchase a yearbook from the bookstore starting May 8th, until supplies run out. We are currently at approximately 175 books available. We suggest you download the Aurasma app on your phone or iPad (when it becomes available) because there is a surprise in the yearbook this year! If you are not sure whether or not you have purchased a yearbook, stop by the room 504 and see if your name is on the wall. Thank you!


 

Baseball news: Congratulations to the boys baseball team for advancing to the final 8 of the State Championship tournament. The team won a hard fought 4 1/2 hour battle over San Luis by a score of 4-2 in 13 innings. Come support the team in their next game on Wednesday night at Tempe Diablo Stadium at 6:30pm vs. Corona Del Sol.


 

Need Service Hours: "Are you interested in earning service hours while working with children in another country? If so, join us as we travel to the Dominican Republic to explore the country and help children in the community. Come to room 335 on Thursday May 4th at 2:20 pm to find out more about this exciting opportunity."


 

Boys Basketball: Boys, Grades 9-11th, are you interested in playing Boys Summer Basketball and Trying out for the 2017-18 Boys Basketball team - There is a meeting in Room 824 this Thursday. May 4th at 2:15 pm. See you there.


 

Track and Field news: Congratulations to following track and field athletes for making it to state this week: Alyssa Lozano, Daniel Lozano, Jacob Lewis, Hailey Myles, Jacob Myles, Stephanie Casaus, Kennedy Farrell, Bethany Robinson, Everett Olson, Miguel Blancas-Aguirre, and Mitchell Rosbrook.


 

Girls Tennis News: Congratulations to Torye Calleja who finished 4th in the state for girls singles this season! Torye is a sophomore and this is the first time she made an appearance in state for singles. Torye is the first female tennis player in BC history to make it past the quarterfinals. Additionally, the girls tennis team made it to the first round of state facing Desert Vista. The team ended up finishing ranked 12th out of 62 teams. This is the highest ranking the program has had in over 8 seasons. It was a great season full of new accomplishments for the program. Way to go Jags!


 

DV Online Learning Program Students ONLY Attendance is required for all students that did not pay for their online class. Attendance is all time spent working, reading and participating in your class. This log verifies to the State of Arizona your attendance in an online course. The attendance log must be submitted each week. The expectation is that you work eight hours per week per course. Thank you for taking online courses with the DV Online Learning Program.
