Blood Drive: Do you know your blood type? Are you positive? Find out for sure by donating at the annual National Honor Society Blood Drive on March 30, 2017 hosted by United Blood Services. NHS would like to invite all students, teachers, parents, and members of the community over the age of 16 to participate in the drive, which will be held in the Boulder Creek Auxiliary Gym from 7:00am to 12:15pm. To sign up, please contact Janay Perone at janay.perone@dvusd.org or Liz Erickson elizabeth.erickson@dvusd.org. One donor can save up to three lives! Last year, participants of the Boulder Creek drive collected an entire day’s supply of blood for a local hospital; this year, we hope to double that by recruiting at least 200 donors. We are grateful for our community’s willingness to reach out and help save lives—you’re the type that this world needs.
