SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

COMMUNITY FORUM with DR. VEITENHEIMER:     Dr. V. will be at West Wing School Wednesday, November 9^th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in our library to meet with you, our parents, staff and community leaders to discuss important issues and share ideas.   We look forward to seeing you!    

CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR MILITARY:

THANK YOU VETERAN’S:  Do you know a veteran or someone in active duty?   Dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, uncle, aunt?  We’d like to honor them.   Our Student Council is having a Veteran’s Appreciation Assembly on Wednesday, November 9^th from 9:30am – 10:00am in our MPR.   Please invite any Veteran and Active Duty Military to our assembly.   We look forward to dedicating this time to thank them for their sacrifice for our country and freedom.  

VETERAN’S APPRECIATION WEEK:  All next week we are honoring our military for Veteran’s Day.  We will have various activities (making flowers and hearts) going on around campus which will be delivered to our military men and women.   Kinder – 3^rd grades posters are due Monday, November 7^th and 4^th  - 8^th grades letters are due Monday, November 7^th so we can deliver them to a local organization for delivery before the holidays.

Monday:  Army-Wear green and white

Tuesday: Navy and Marines: To honor the Navy wear Blue and Gold

                                                    To honor the Marines wear Red and Gold

Wednesday: Patriotic Day-Wear Red White and Blue

Thursday: Air Force and Coast Guard:  To honor the Air Force wear Blue and White

                                                                     To honor the Coast Guard wear Orange and White
