BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN:  We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support of the Boosterthon fun run and color run this year.  With your help we were able to make this our most successful year yet.  Thank you to everyone that donated as well as the volunteers that helped on the day of the event.  The fun run may be over but now is the time to get all of the pledges turned in so that we can start purchasing iPads and laptops for our classrooms!

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS:   Our first competition is scheduled for Monday, November 2nd at 2:30pm in the library.   Please make sure your child has back up plans just in case the competition runs past 3:30pm.  This competition is a first for your kids as well as Mrs. Zumstein so we’re not sure what to expect.   Better to be prepared with an alternate pick up source if your child relies on the bus to get home.   Any questions please contact Shari Zumstein at shari.mills-zumstein@dvusd or 623-376-5013.    Parents are welcome to attend the competition but we will need a head count.  Please RSVP before October 26th.
