DVUSD News - iTeachAZ Informational Session

The Deer Valley Unified School District and Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College use the power of partnership to prepare notable teachers. Anyone with a bachelor's degree who is interested in becoming a certified elementary or middle school teacher while earning their master's degree, is invited to take an inside look at the iTeachAZ Deer Valley Master of Education plus Arizona Certification Program. Candidates will receive ASU coursework and classroom experience at Deer Valley schools within a 13 month program that starts this May! Upcoming informational sessions are being held January 18th, 5-6 p.m. and February 15th, 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Mirage Elementary School located at 3910 W. Grovers in Glendale. DVUSD and ASU will also be hosting a tour on January 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Folks who are interested will receive a first-hand opportunity to visit campuses, talk to the academic advisor, coordinator, administrators, and current students and/or alumni.
