Shopping Earns DVUSD Schools More SMART Boards Outlets at Anthem Launches Expanded Opt-In Contest

The Outlets at Anthem has partnered with the Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) once again to bring SMART Board technology to more Deer Valley classrooms. The Opt-In contest will run this year from March 28 December 31 with winners announced in January 2010. While shopping at the Outlets at Anthem customers must show their original receipts to the staff at Guest Services to earn points toward the district school of their choice. This year winners will be awarded in five separate competition zones in order for all schools to have a chance of winning.

DVUSD Parent/Community Involvement Manager Kenna Hough said, We are excited to have the support of Outlets at Anthem and our community members in putting additional technology in classrooms. Partnerships like this are helping us move forward which is especially important during these difficult economic times.

Last year the Outlets at Anthem partnership resulted in five schools receiving 15 SMART Boards totaling $42,600 including installation costs. All other DVUSD schools received $200 for participating. Opt-In memberships are free and those 18 and older can become a member by visiting Customer Service located in the Outlets at Anthem Food Court.
