WEST WING SCHOOL NEWS!!

AZ MERIT TESTING CONTINUES:   through Thursday, April 26^th.   During the testing month we ask parent to utilize the testing schedule located on the West Wing website when scheduling any doctor, dentist or other necessary appointments.  Please refrain from scheduling on your child’s testing dates.   You will find it under QUICK LINKS (left side) AZ MERIT TESTING INFORMATION.   During the testing month parents & volunteers (any non-staff members) will not be allowed on campus.  

Students ARE PERMITTED to bring their own headphones to use during testing. They must have the round headphone jack. Other types will not work. Students should also have a book to read in case they finish testing before the time expires. They may NOT have any type of electronics on their body during testing. This includes phones, smart watches, Fit bits, electronic books etc.

PTSA MEETING:  Wednesday, April 11^th at 3:45pm in the Media Center.

CPR CLASSES:   We have a CPR class scheduled Wednesday April 11th at 3:45 pm here on the West Wing campus. Fire fighter Greg Serrano will be the instructor.   Cost is $25 per person.   Please contact Michelle.Vogelsang@dvusd.org   if interested.

FROZEN YOGURT NIGHT!!:  Thursday, April 25^th PTSA is putting on a dessert night at FROYO CRAZE on 83^rd & Deer Valley from 4:00pm – close.  This is a West Wing family owned business!  A portion of the sales will come back to WW school!  

WE NEED YOUR HELP!: Do you or someone you know work in the Medical, Engineering, Technology or Computer field?   We need these individuals on STEAM Night in May (Science Technology Engineering and Math) .  We’re looking for people in these industries to work a table during our event explaining their careers to students, parents and individuals in our community.   If you are interested please contact Allison.Davidson@DVUSD.org.

To be helpful to our patrons we have decided to implement a monthly reminder regarding your students’ lunch account.  

Your student(s) lunch account may possibly be overdrawn and needs to be brought current. 

Please send in a payment and provide additional money for future meal purchases. Payments may be made by CASH, CHECK, or ONLINE at www.EZSchoolPay.com 

*NOTE*  a $2 convenience fee will apply when making an online payment.
