WEST WING SCHOOL NEWS!!

SPIRITLINE COMPETITION:  Our girls took 1^st Place!!!  Congratulations to our awesome Spirit Line and Ms. Sercl for a job well done!   

BOY’S BASEBALL CAMP:   Monday, January 29^th through Thursday, February 1^st after school. 

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL TRYOUTS:  Monday, February 5^th and Tuesday, February 6^th after school.   Athletic packets must be filled out and physicals must be completed prior to the first day of tryouts.   Packets can be picked up from the front office or printed from our website. 

GIFTED PARENT INSTITUTE:  This is for parents AND students PreK – 6^th grades.  Lunch is included.    Saturday, February 3^rd at Norterra Canyon School  2200 W. KINDERGARTEN SNEAK PEEK:  Kindergarten Registration

Thursday, February 1st, 2018, our school will be hosting a Kindergarten Sneak Peek Night from 5:30 p.m- 7:00 p.m. at West Wing School. Parents may register their child for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Students need to be 5 years old by August 31, 2018. Classrooms will be open to parents to tour and speak with the Kindergarten teachers. The first 25 people who register their future 2018-2019 Kindergarten student at West Wing will receive a FREE book autographed by the principal, Dr. Price-Barry.

We are happy to offer a free full-day kindergarten program at our school. Please join us for this exciting evening to have fun and explore our incredible program. To register a child, parents will need to bring the child's original birth certificate, a current utility bill and immunization records in order to register.

If you know of any neighbors that may have a kindergarten aged child, please share the Kinder Sneak Peek information with them. Please feel free to contact the office if you should have any questions at 623-376-5000.

COMING IN FROM OUR PTSA:

DINE FOR DOLLARS!:  January 30^th from 5:00 pm – 8:00pm.   Please join us for an evening out at the new Wendy’s on Tuesday.   Present the flyer and 20% of the proceeds will come back to WW School!    Location:  25774 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway. 

DADDY / DAUGHTER DANCE:  Our PTSA is sponsoring the 2018 Daddy / Daughter Dance: A Knight for a Princess on Friday, February 9^th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in our MPR.  Tickets are on sale now and can only be purchased online at www.westwingptsa.com through February 5^th.  No late orders will be accepted.   Please do not send in payment to your child’s teacher.   The evening includes dinner by Twisted Italian, drinks, dessert, photo, dancing and door prizes.   This event is for West Wing students kindergarten – 8^th grade.   Escorts can be dad, grandpa, uncle or someone very special.
