VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS:   Begin Monday, August 14^th after school in our MPR.   Permission slips, physicals and concussion paperwork must be in place prior to trying out.   Obtain the paperwork from our website under ACTIVITIES – 7^th & 8^th GRADE ATHLETICS.  Physicals are good for any sport the entire school year.

EARLY RELEASE:   All grades release at 12:05pm

COMING IN FROM OUR PTSA: 

Become a PTSA member!   The annual membership is only $5!  Anyone can be a member: parents, grandparents, guardians, friends and STUDENTS!  Simply drop your payment off at the front office or you can pay online at www.westwingptsa.com.   Please keep in mind our PTSA is always in need of volunteers for the many events they put on for our students and staff.   Visit their website anytime for details.

September 29^th:  Bingo Night 6:00 – 8:00pm in our MPR - more info to follow

We are open for breakfast at 8:15-8:45 a.m.

AUGUST:  Extra lunch choices are: Crispy Chicken Salad or Grilled cheese sandwich

Monday, August 14^th:  Crunchy chicken tacos

Tuesday, August 15^th:  Pizza

Wednesday, August 16^th:  Cinnamon pancakes & sausage

Friday, August 18^th: Mini Turkey corn dogs

Please follow these guides lines for student drop off/pick-up and walkers.

• Walkers:  gates don't open till 8:30am.
• Students buying Breakfast:  Front gate by the MPR is open at 8:15 allowing access.  Breakfast is only $1.25, which is a good option if they don't have time to eat at home.
• Students being dropped off/picked-up
  • ALL Drop off:  Gates open at 8:15am allowing parents to pull in and drop off breakfast students.  All other students are not allowed on campus until 8:30 when supervision starts.  
  •  Kindergarten students ONLY (siblings of kindergartner are OK for the same)  are dropped and picked up at the front curb near the Administration building.  
  • 1^st graders – 8^th graders are dropped and picked up using the driveway at the back of the school near the playgrounds.
  • ALL Pick up:  Gate opens at 3:15pm. There is no parking/waiting anywhere along High Desert Dr. before these gates open.  Consider coming 5 minutes after the bell rings when traffic congestion is lower.

Please be considerate and follow all directions of the crossing guards.  They are out there trying to keep all our students safe and we want them to be safe as well.
