PTSA MEETING: Thursday, April 6^th at 6:00pm in our MPR. Are you interested in taking on a bigger role with the PTSA? We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Elections will be held next week for all board positions.

EARLY RELEASE: Friday, April 7^th all grades are dismissed at 12:05pm

NO SCHOOL: Friday, April 14^th – Spring Day

SDOHS SPIRIT LINE TRYOUT CLINIC: Is your 8^th grade son or daughter interested in trying out for SDOHS cheer line next year? If so, there’s a clinic they will want to attend. April 10^TH – 13^TH from 4:30pm – 6:30pm in SDOHS Aux Gym. Cost is $60 (non-refundable) Make checks out to SDOHS Spirit Line. Applications are available in our front office.

SCHOOL DANCE: 5^th, 6^th and 7^th grade dance will be held on Friday, April 21^st at 5:00 pm. More details to follow.

7^th & 8^th GRADE PANORAMIC PICTURES: Friday, April 28^th Grads Photography will be here to take the panoramic pictures. Details on how to order will follow shortly.

TWO JOB OPENINGS IN OUR CAFETERIA! 2.5 hours 11:00am – 1:30pm serving position. Serving students, dishes and clean up AND Cafeteria cashier/kitchen helper 3 hours, 10:30-1:30. Contact LuAnne Kelley at 623-376-5014 or Luanne.kelley@dvusd.org.

WEST WING MOUNTAIN LIVING MAGAZINE: is doing a special Mother's Day issue for the May edition of the magazine. We are asking that children that reside in the community answer the following question: Why do you love mom?

They are then instructed to have their legal guardian email their (brief - 1 sentence at most) answers along with their names to me at allison.kindler@n2publishing.com by the end of March in order to have their write up featured in the "Meet Your Neighbors" article for that month.

CPR CLASSES: CPR class will be given by Gregory Serrano here at WW School on April 12^th. The cost is $20 per person. If interested please sign up with Nurse Michelle at 623-376-5010

STEAM EVENT: The Science PLC is busy planning for our STEAM night on May 10th. We are looking for professionals to come and set up a table that will tell students all about how science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics plays a role in their career each day.
