SPECIAL WEST WING ANNOUNCEMENT

West Wing is planning quite a night on Thursday, February 25th.    The whole community is invited to visit our Showcase for Learning Night, Literacy Night, Book Fair and Kinder Sneak Peek!!!   We'll have food trucks on site so bring your family and friends, have dinner and visit all the fun activities going on around campus!   Please refer to the information below for corrected event times.    Thank you!!!  

SPRING BOOK FAIR:   Monday, February 22^nd – Friday, February 26^th in our library.

Monday – Wednesday:   8:30am – 4:00pm

Thursday:    8:30am – 7:00pm

Friday:   8:30am – 1:00pm

LITERACY NIGHT:     5:00pm – 6:30pm in our MPR room.   West Wing will have lots of fun planned to encourage reading.   Book Swap, Photo booth, games and crafts!   Please contact Christina Riccitelli if you are interested in volunteering:  Christina.riccitelli@dvusd.org or 623-376-5053.    

SHOWCASE FOR LEARNING NIGHT:   West Wing School is excited to open our campus for our annual Showcase of Learning.

This event is an opportunity for you to invite your friends and neighbors to visit our amazing school! Every classroom will be open and you are welcome to stop in and see the exciting learning activities that are taking place throughout our campus. Please check the times below for specific event details:

Kinder – 3^rd Grade:  5:00pm – 5:45pm

4^th – 8^th Grades:  5:45pm – 6:30pm

 KINDER SNEAK PEEK NIGHT:   If you have a kinder or you know of a friend or neighbor who will have a kinder starting next school year this is a great time to bring them to meet our kinder teachers and see what West Wing has planned for those students.   You can also have them registered for next year!!!   This will take place in our kinder classrooms  5:00pm – 5:45pm. 

CLOTHING DONATION DRIVE:  Our Student Council is holding a Big Brother’s Big Sister’s clothing drive from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.   They are looking for clothes, shoes, furniture and bedding.  You know the rule:   If you haven’t worn it in a year chances are you’re not going to!!   

FOOD TRUCKS:    Food trucks will be on site 4:00pm - 7:00pm during all the fun!!
