TAX CREDIT:  Dear WW Parents and Guardians,

This short message is to inform you of an easy way for you to help West Wing School today. I am writing you this very important message about the importance of sending your Tax Credit donation to West Wing School. This gift from you contributes invaluable benefits to the West Wing students. Tax credit dollars go directly to extracurricular programs such as tutoring, special band and music programs that we would not be able to afford otherwise, and many more invaluable opportunities for your child.

If you donate your tax dollars to West Wing, it is at no cost to you.   The tax credit reduces your tax burden to the state of Arizona dollar for dollar as well as reduces your taxable income to the federal government, usually by 1/3 of your donation so it is a win win situation for you and for West Wing School.  Please take a moment and decide to donate your tax dollars to West Wing this year.

Warmest Regards,

Dr. Price-Barry

Here’s HOW you can donate tax credit dollars to West Wing School.   Remember it is $200 for filing single or up to $400 for filing joint.

  1.  Pick up a TAX CREDIT FORM from our front office and drop the payment directly to us.
  2. Go to www.dvusd.mytechsupport.com to print off a TAX CREDIT FORM and drop it at the front office

FROM OUR CAFETERIA:

MCj04346370000School Breakfast Facts

A great breakfast program is offered at school every day!

Here are some fun facts about school breakfast:

  • It’s easy! Instead of running around in the morning trying to make sure your children eat a healthy meal, let us do the work. They can get a great breakfast at school, and there will be no dishes for you to wash!

  • It’s affordable!  If qualified, your child may be able to get breakfast at a reduced price or for free. If your child already eats a free or reduced price lunch, they automatically qualify for a free or reduced price breakfast.

  • It’s tasty!  Schools now have more variety to choose from when deciding what to offer your children for breakfast.  Request a menu so you can view what your child may be eating at school.

  • It’s good for the brain! Research suggests that not having breakfast can affect children’s intellectual performance (CDC).

Menu:

December’s alternatives are: Beef and Bean Chili w/ corn muffin or Cheesy garden salad

Thursday, December 18th:  Spaghetti and Meat sauce

Friday, December 19th: Bean and cheese burrito  (Early Release Day)

January’s alternatives are: 2 cheese crisps with salsa or crispy chicken salad with roll

Monday, January 5th: Hand tossed pizza

Tuesday, January 6th:  Popcorn chicken
