HOMECOMING WEEK:  Oct. 16-20 Spirit Week
     Oct. 18 Parade,
     Oct. 20 Assembly and Game
     Oct 21 Homecoming Dance.

STUDENT ATHLETES OF THE MONTH SEPTEMBER:  Maddie Green - Flag Football (Senior)  Maddie Green has taken on a new role in playing flag football. I have known her to be a leader and a support system of her teammates on and off the court/field. She is constantly there to support her team and make those around her better. This sport, she has stepped into the spotlight with becoming the Quarterback and one of the captains of our first flag football team. She is leading her offense to move the ball and with throwing and rushing touchdowns. She is constantly communicating with her blockers and receivers to make sure everyone is on the same page. Recently she stepped up to help the defense in playing safety and taking away the other team's big plays. Maddie is also a member of the SALT, SLACK, basketball and track team!

Parker Halpine- Football (Senior):  Parker is the example of excellence on and off the field. He has always been a leader by example. He goes hard every rep, every drill. He currently has a 4.6 gpa while participating in football all four years and holding an off campus job. I wish I had 100 kids with the same attitude and effort he CHOOSES daily. He is coachable and coaches the younger kids around him. Parker has a bright future with his leadership and determination for success.

BOYS SOCCER: Anyone wanting to participate in boys soccer should plan on attending a preseason boys soccer meeting will be 9/27 at 3:15 pm in the media center.

STUDENT ATHLETIC PASSES: Students you can avoid the online ticket fees and purchase your Student Athletic pass from the bookstore. This pass costs $30.00 and will get you into all regular season HOME games. Your students pass will be put on your students ID card and you must show the ID card at the event

FAMILY ATHLETIC PASSES: Parents and families can purchase a punch card to get into games 20 punches for $65.00. The family punch card can be purchase at the bookstore and is for parents and family members only and can not be used by Ridge students to get into games.

TICKETS for home athletic events can only be purchased online, tickets will not be sold at the door. To purchase your tickets go to www.mrhsathletics.com and click on the ticket link.

TSW PLASTIC FILM COLLECTION: The TSW Program and the Trex Co. are excited to announce our 3rd year of competition with other high schools all over the United States.  We are collecting clean tearable plastic some examples are: Grocery bags, Plastic envelopes, Ziploc bags, Water bottle case covers, Dry cleaning bags, Bubble wrap, Ice bags. Last year we placed 2nd with over 7,000  lbs of film.  Our goal this year is 10,000 lbs, so bring in your unwanted plastic, help us reach 1st place and clean up our environment at the same time. Drop off for plastic/film is in the administration building in the  designated white Trex bin by the attendance window
