GIRLS GOLF:  The Girls Golf team held their annual Ridge Open girls golf tournament. This year the girls hosted 105 golfers representing 22 schools for an alternate shot contest, a team/individual skills challenge and an 18-hole tournament. Our own Mountin Lion Jr. Alaina Hinsch won the Pitch Shot Skills Challenge! Fr. Peyton DeCosta shoots +3/75 taking 7th place playing along side some of the absolute best in the state (right were she belongs). Jr. Luca Mather plays great and fires 46 on the qualifying front 9. 
Yesterday, the Girls Golf team beat Canyon View 201-212. The Mountain Lions were led by Jr. Sohpia Symchak and Jr. Luca Mather shooting 47s. Jr. Ava Bautista played another solid round and finished her day rolling in a 20-foot putt for par! Sr. Isabel Greene and Fr. Mia Torrez both played great in their first qualifying rounds of their high school careers! Go Ridge!
 

RIDGE CROSS COUNTRY: Our teams traveled to California this past weekend to compete at the Woodbridge Classic, the largest cross country meet in the nation. Our Varsity Girls Team finished 29th in their race, led by Jessica Jacobsen (55th) and Delaney Patterson (63rd). Our Varsity Boys Team placed finishing 6th in their race, led by Collin Foley (15th), Alex Crotty (42nd), Luke Innarelli (43rd), Adrian Rodriguez (45th) and Cooper Torrez (71st). Our team races this coming Saturday, September 23rd at Freestone Park at the Western Equinox Invite. 

BABBO PIZZA FUNDRAISER: Come support the Ridge Cross Country Team any time Tomorrow at Babbo Italian Eatery off of 67th Avenue!

STUDENT ATHLETIC PASSES: Students you can avoid the online ticket fees and purchase your Student Athletic pass from the bookstore. This pass costs $30.00 and will get you into all regular season HOME games. Your students pass will be put on your students ID card and you must show the ID card at the event

FAMILY ATHLETIC PASSES: Parents and families can purchase a punch card to get into games 20 punches for $65.00. The family punch card can be purchase at the bookstore and is for parents and family members only and can not be used by Ridge students to get into games.

TICKETS for home athletic events can only be purchased online, tickets will not be sold at the door. To purchase your tickets go to www.mrhsathletics.com and click on the ticket link.

TSW PLASTIC FILM COLLECTION: The TSW Program and the Trex Co. are excited to announce our 3rd year of competition with other high schools all over the United States.  We are collecting clean tearable plastic some examples are: Grocery bags, Plastic envelopes, Ziploc bags, Water bottle case covers, Dry cleaning bags, Bubble wrap, Ice bags. Last year we placed 2nd with over 7,000  lbs of film.  Our goal this year is 10,000 lbs, so bring in your unwanted plastic, help us reach 1st place and clean up our environment at the same time. Drop off for plastic/film is in the administration building in the  designated white Trex bin by the attendance window
