PROM ROYALTY:  Here are the nominees for prom royalty, first the nominees for prince and princess: Prince: Cole Christopherson, Nick Langdon and Ryland Sands Princess:  McKenna Gibson, Jalen Jefferson and Liliana Noto.  Now for King and Queen:King:  Jason Kirkland, Will Mikes, Noah Munoz and Cooper Neville Queen:  Kiana Breuer, Alexis Cairns, Amara Glover, Kaylee Myers and Cami Ritzler  Congratulations and Good Luck! Juniors and Seniors will be voting for Prom Royalty this week in your Language Arts classes. Tickets for Prom are on sale in the bookstore at lunches, so make sure you get them soon. 

NHS DONATION DRIVE:  National Honors Society is sponsoring a donation drive for the Amanda Hope Foundation. The Amanda Hope Foundation works with hospitals, families, and children to bring dignity and comfort into the harsh world of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Donations needed include: Gift cards, new puzzles, Legos, games, small dolls, coloring books, colored pencils, blankets, fuzzy socks, craft supplies, headphones/ear-buds, etc. Seek the flyers posted around campus for a full list of donation items needed. All donations can be brought to your 1st period class. Class with the most donations will win a prize. The donation drive will last from April 3rd- April 21st. Please help us bring comfort to those in need.

ORDER YEARBOOKS:  Don't forget to purchase your 2022-2023 yearbook before they run out. Yearbooks can be purchased at the MRHS bookstore or at jostens.com. Don't miss out!

CONGRATULATIONS HOSA: 13 HOSA students who competed at SLC.  Brooke Blais & Hailey Hein are state champtions in Health Career Display; Ash Bhakta & Pratush Pyakurel placed 3rd in Medical Innovation; 17 members earned membership awards; 3 earned community service awards.  We earned Gold chapter award

NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT:  The final NLI signing day for this school year is 4/12 at 7:00 AM.  Please see Ms. Douglas in the athletics office if you would like to participate in this event

STAFF RECOGNITION: Is there a staff member at Mountain Ridge that you feel has gone above and beyond to help a student or is just a great representation of what it means to be a Mountain Lion? CAP & GOWN:  Attention Seniors, if you did not pick up your Cap and Gown yet, it is important that you get them as soon as possible at the Bookstore either before or after school or during lunch. 

SENIOR SCHOLORSHIPS:  please turn in any scholarships you have received to Ms. Dyal in the counseling office by either emailing the award letters to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org or by dropping them off in the counseling. We want to honor you at our Senior Awards Ceremony on April 26th. The deadline to turn in scholarships is Monday, March 20th.
