CONGRATULATIONS MRHS TRACK & FIELD - This past Thursday the Track and Field team traveled to Deer Valley for our first meet of the season. The Boys team won 74-62 and the girls won 81.5 - 48.5. Event winners on the boys side included; Matthew Worrell in the Javelin, Alex Doost in the Shot Put, Josiah Parker in the Discus, Derek Leverage in the Javelin, Max Haggard in the Pole Vault, Julian King in the Long Jump and Albin Arulanandu in the Triple. On the girls side event winners included; Marrisa Neese in the 100 and 200 meters, Madelynn Bunn in the 300 meter hurdles, Alison Pederson in the Pole Vault. We had two girls win three sperate events; Laruen Maza won the 400 meters, Javelin and triple jump. Miyah Verse claimed victory in the Shot Put, discus and High jump.

This past Friday at Brophy our teams competed at Brophy Prep AMDG Invitational against some of the states best programs. Boys took 7th out of 12 and girls took 8th out of 12. The boys were led by Austin Clayton winning the 1600 meter in dramatic fashion setting a meet record. His time of 4:15 places him as the top boys miler in the state (currently). On the girls side Junior Taylor Krasa posted a 5:18 time in the 1600 placing second. She bested her previous record by nearly 30 seconds. Miyah Verse placed 2nd in the High Jump and Third in the Shot Put. Both girls are currently placed in the top 10 in the state for these marks.

This Friday is a big day for the track program as we host our third annual Ridge Invite! Come out and support these awesome student athletes.

ORDER YOUR SENIOR GRADUATION YARD SIGN NOW – Be sure to order your Senior a Yard Sign. You can order one with a picture ($30) or just name ($25). Email mrhspom@gmail.com for an order form. Orders are due by April 1st. 

BEST BUDDIES - Best Buddies will be having a Pizza night at Barro's on 67th Avenue and Beardsley TONIGHT, Thursday, March 25th Thank you for supporting our Best Buddies while ordering some wonderful pizza!! Please mention Best Buddies when ordering.  

GIRLS TENNIS - Varsity tennis girls team opened their season with a strong win over Boulder Creek  8-1.  Winning matches were Neha Balamurugan. Emma Troyer, Nicole Varadi,  Julia Borggrebe, Maehur Aulakh, and Henna Singh.     JV's also won 7-2.  Great job by all the girls.

RIDGE GOT TALENT - Watch for the Ridge Got Talent video link after Spring Break. Then VOTE with your money for each act in the student store and with the only payment link. The money raised will go to Cancer Research in honor of our Craig Sheppard....so be generous when you vote!

ATTENTION STUDENTS: We are a closed campus and do not allow any outside deliveries of food to our campus. If someone comes in with food from an outside delivery, they will be turned away.
